Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Power Button Hangup / Disable This?
Sep 21, 2010I keep accidentally tapping the power button in the middle of a call which then hangs it up. Is there anyway to disable this?

Dec 3, 2010Just wondering why the X10 mini pro doesn't have the end call button at the top like the X10 Maxi (power button)?The lack of having this feature is absurd. The easiest and most logical way to end a call is to press the top lock screen/power button. I recommended this phone to someone and they got a massive shock when they realised they had an active call going for over 8 hours! Could you please add this feature in your next update, if not could you at least have a visual clue to let the user know that they have an active call when the screen is off, eg notification light blinking purple or something.

Jul 17, 2010I took my X10 to the SonyErricson shop to get the local sim working and GBP 60 later they managed to stuff the phone. The local sim now works but but the phone is useless as it does not power up When I put the SD card in. The authorised shop started speaking in Arabic telling me they could not help. I suspect they did not do a good job unlocking it or screwed up the os somehow. I tried to use the "Update Service" software and this says: "Failed to Detect Product" I have a catch 22 situtation as I cant power up and I cant use the phone without the sd card. I just want to reset the os so I can get back to defaults.

Aug 26, 2010I enabled APN in the settings. But, I want to be able to enable/disable my APN so I can be sure that I'm not getting charged for using the Internet when I'm not. On the top of my screen I see an E with 2 arrows, one pointing up and one pointing down, when I turn my WiFi on this disappears and is replaced by a WiFi icon, and I don't get charged for browsing. But I want to be able to turn APN on and off, I can't uncheck the option for APN which I chose, and the application I downloaded does not work. The icon remains there when I'm not connected to a router even if APN is disabled.

May 5, 2013I have a Galaxy Note II. When I have it in the side pocket of my pants I sometimes reboot the damn thing by crouching down. I listen to audio books when renovating my cabin (which is going to take a month or so more), and this has happened 4-5 times today! So I'd like to disable that button all together. Sep 23, 2010Every time I plug my X10 into my PC or laptop, SE Phone Tools pops up with a windows explaining to me how to mount my SD card. If I close this window, it reappears about a minute later and will continue to do so until I quit PC Companion, mount my SD card, or unplug my phone. Is there any way to disable this window while keeping PC Companion running? I run PdaNet tethering software and will also sometimes charge my phone through my PC. Neither of these situations require me to mount my SD card nor do I wish to always do so. Either way, there should be an option within PC Companion to permanently disable this useless window (after a week of using the software, I was more than aware how to mount my SD card).
