when i install app from droid market, are they install to the phone or the SD card. if to the phone, do i have the option to put them to the SD card? when i connect the x10 to my computer via the USB cable, i don't seem to see the apps. where, which folder rather, do they reside?

I know apps vary in size but I just wondered how many apps I can download onto the phones memory?What limits you, the memory size or the phones ability to run many at once?Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search first but couldn't find an answer for the X10. Apologies if I missed it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedChecking out media players, I downloaded Zimly and Mixzing (thanks suze!) to compare. Both installed instantly but only Zimly appeared as an icon on the home screen. When I go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications they are both listed as installed, however I need to have Mixzing drop its icon for me to be able to use it from reviews etc I actually think that's the one I'll be keeping anyway, a clear case of sod's Law that of the two that one would be the one with a problem! I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, same result.

Today I heard about an update for the market that includes an auto update feature for installed apps. But I, like many others, do not see this option on the market.
Does anyone have any idea how to get it? or if I can't get it, when can I?
I'm having trouble setting SE as my default synchronisation thingy. The only options i have are Google or Do not use sync service.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI still have the songs I had b4 I've downloaded the 2.1 OS; when I look into the X10 Mini, the "AVAILABLE ROOM" seems to have gotten bigger; but I also have many times in which the phone says: "no SD card found" or "no available storage" and such, regardless all my songs are there(not sure where!), and the "SD and storage" still shows the amount of memory like - Total room: 3.67GB and Available room: 3.11GB; considering I only had about 1.70GB left pryor to the 2.1 OS update!

View 5 Replies View RelatedWell I live in the UK with a Vodafone handset and just upgraded OTA, before the update when using the dialer and selecting a contact then selecting the number would usually dial straight away. After the update when I select the contact and select the number I want to dial what it does now is take it to the number screen with the number on thus slowing down the call process and making me put it towards my ear and pressing random numbers before realizing that I haven't even made the call yet.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI wonder if I can change the default settings for my calendar to "no reminder" and also to create an event in my calendar called "SonyEricsson" instead of the calendar named after me (since only the calendar called "SonyEricsson" synchronizes with sonyericsson's server and my other phone). Now I have to change to these settings for every new event I create. And if I forget to change the calendar to SonyEricsson I can't switch it later for some weird reason.
If this is not possible, do you know what else I can do? Explanations how to sync the calendar named after me, delete this calendar so SonyEricsson is chosen as default or any other suggestions are welcome.
