When I move some widgets on my Home Screen, I've seen message: "The application Home screen (process com.sonyericsson.homescreen) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" Than I switch off x10 mini, but I've already still have this error.

My application screen tab (the one that usually lives at the botton of the screen) has moved to the right side and I don't know how. Does anyone now how to move to tab back to the bottom? Its probably something simple that I am over thinking.

I just traded my 3gs for this phone and boy do I miss my 3gs, it was much easier to use. Just when I though this was the worst phone possible, now this weird quirk Hopefully the 2.1 update will help with the crapiness of the keyboard and how leggy the phone really is.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my white X10 a couple of days ago and I'm loving it! Well, asides for one relatively minor issue which is the appearance of Timescape on the home screen. I really liked the transparent look Timescape had with the SE logo prior to setting up facebook and email, etc. Now there's usually someone's FB display picture or an email being displayed, which is nice and all but I don't really like having to it all the time. I'd much rather see it when I want to by just tapping the tile and entering timescape as I'm a fan of the clean look it had before the setup.
I was wondering if there was a way to change the timescape widget's appearance to what it was before I set it up without losing its functions. In other words I want it to work the way it is now but have it look the way it did on the home screen before I set it up. To illustrate what I mean, I would like to change timescape widget from looking like this:

But the home screen(s) won't flip to the wide screen look when the phone is rotated sideways. All the other views i.e. settings, browsers, etc do this no problem, but the home screen(s) them selves are stuck in a portrait view.

View 1 Replies View RelatedChecking out media players, I downloaded Zimly and Mixzing (thanks suze!) to compare. Both installed instantly but only Zimly appeared as an icon on the home screen. When I go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications they are both listed as installed, however I need to have Mixzing drop its icon for me to be able to use it from reviews etc I actually think that's the one I'll be keeping anyway, a clear case of sod's Law that of the two that one would be the one with a problem! I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, same result.

I have x10 mini 2.1 since I updated to 2.1 any long press on home screen or corner icons goes directly to edit either widgets or icons depending wich screen I have up.This is anoying because many times I press just a little too long and for example end up in the edit icons mode instead of opening messages like I wanted to. Is there anyway to get this as it was on 1.6? Long press didnt open edit, the only way to open edit was trough menu key.

My first Android phone so still getting used to it! Been reading through loads of Threads about Tone Picker and stuff and its sorted me right out, one thing which I cant do it make Folders in my Menu to tidy it up a bit? There's a weird thing happened. I have now 5 pages of icons, but the last spot on Page 4 is always left blank. Even if I install a new app, this spot won't fill up, the new icon would appear on Page 5. I wonder how I could get rid of such nuisance.

First, am I correct in that if I use Wi-Fi I will avoid the 3g charges since Im using another internet source? Also do things like the MobileTV and GPS use data?My second question was about mediascape. I am a new member and a relatively new owner of an X10i. Overall I am happy with the phone but I am hoping some can answer a question. When I press the home button (middle one) I get a prompt to select to 'Complete Action using Home or Timescape' This is quite annoying. I want the default action to be Home (not Timescape) but despite ticking the box in the prompt it still pops up this box.
