would anyone know how I can get the contacts to display so that it's in the format of "First Name, Last Name" currently it's the opposite ("Last name, First Name"), and i'd like to change it.

I have a problem with the current keyboard as the enter key is just below the back space key, and on 2 occasions I have inadvertently tapped the enter key and my half finished message is sent. Can I change the format where the enter key if further away on the keyboard.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have two groups of contacts "MyContacts" and "Utilities". When I set up synching I selected to copy "All contacts".
Unfortunatey, when I look what's on my area on sonyericsson.com/wportal I see only the contacts from the group "MyContacts".
I.e. the site creates a false feeling of security - if I need to restore my phone from this site I will irrecovarebly lose lots of data.
I don't know is SE forgot to test their function or Android-hackers don't understand the features of the contacts.
All area of handling the contacts stinks seriously, and mkes you wander if the Android people ever used a mobile phone :
1. X10 does not accept contacts sent via SMS (VCARD-format), (or via MMS or bluetooth)
2. X10 does not sync with Outlook where most of business people have their contacts, and maintain them when receiving corporate mails etc.
3. The only way to get the contacts is to export from PC to a csv-file and import to gmail, and then sync to the phone. This is not that flexible due the export via csv. I.e. If I create cntacts in the phone they will not reach Outlook.
After updating my phone i noticed i cant find half my contacts. how can i get the contacts back to my original ones

i have 3 home launchers sony ericsson home , adw launcher and helix launcher so lets say if im using helix launcher as home default does other 2 launcher uses display memory also to drain battery? do they run at background? is it good to have 3 homes? im on fw 026 and rooted and i wana get most out of my battery.

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust received my phone yesterday and had a problem getting the SIM contacts from my old W910i phone to the Xperia x10. Followed the instructions to the letter, then called up Orange and they tried a few ways to get them over, went to the shop this morning to try and sort it out but after over an hour it was to no avail. The young chap in the store said that it must be based on the database setup - they must be incompatible.
So I now have to manually input my old contacts on the new phone when I encountered another problem - whilst inputting a contact detail, I pressed something on the bottom left of the keyboard and suddenly I am faced with Korean language. I went to Settings and set the language to English UK and went back to the contact I was editing, but still faced with a Korean keyboard.
i recently purchaed my SE x10 mini pro, and im relatively happy with it, although there are a few simle functions missing. i know how to import your sim contacts onto your phone, however is there a way to export contacts onto your sim? so that each time i add a new contact i'd save it onto the sim rather than the phone?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI installed android 2.1 today but for some reason I can't restore my contacts.I followed the instructions on the sony ericsson webpage and used the SE backup software to make a backup of my contacts, mms, photos etc. When I restored everything after the update everything was restored except my contacts. How can I get my contacts back? Is there some way to extract them manually from the backup file or something? The backup software can't seem to restore them for me.

When i look in my contacts, i see it allows you to have a photo for each person. When i link the contact to facebook, it doesent put their picture on the contact. do i really have to walk around and manually take a picture of each one of my friends in order to have it on my contacts list?
