When I first set up my X10 it asked me to register a Google account which I did. Is there anyway to change this account to another account? I have tried from one of the menus but it says the account is already setup.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I want to change Google account. I tried Setting>Basic Settings>Setup Guide, but cannot click Google Account. Cannot change from Menu>Gmail too.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFew days ago i had trouble with the keyboard of my X10, it was, for unknown reason, lock in Korean and i couldn't change it.So i decided to reset my phone to factory setup. This worked and the keyboard came back to french.But now i can't access to any Google app, as Market, Gmail, etc.It's asking me to log in to my google account (it never ask me that before, even when i bought the phone), but it's always telling me that my password is wrong and advice me to connect http:/google.com/accounts on my PC. I did it and i can access to my google account without any problem.Then i updated my phone to Android 2.1, but it didn't solve anything, i tried to repair it with Update service and PC Companion, but it didn't help more.I found on internet that i could put "null" as my password, but then it's asking me to reproduce a capcha, i did but it's asking me to reproduce another one, again and again.I noticed than my phone seems to have some trouble to connect with my SIM card, don't know if it's link.I don't really want to send my phone to repair for 3 weeks, but this is becoming really annoying, what can i do ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to deactivate the Google account (due to a privacy issue) that I was using on my laptop and it was the one I was using on the phone also. Now that I've deactivated it, I am no longer able to use the android apps, or change things within the phone because on not being able to log into that account. The login page comes up with the old account asking me for my password, but of course, like I said, it is no longer in use, and it doesn't let me change the user name as I've made another goggle account. I have tried to change things in the settings, but all I've done it seems is to have screwed it up more.

Anyway my phone was in my pocket and has locked up asking me to enter my google account details but like i say i forgot the details, didnt think i needed to remember them as i was always signed into the account on my phone, so does anybody know how i can get this sorted.

My phone is not able to communicate with any google server and as a result I cant access the Market, Facebook, Email and other such features which require a google account. It is showing "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server." This persists since I bought the phone about two weeks ago.

View 1 Replies View Relatedright so the bottom buttons were working fine, but the next day, the back button takes me to the home screen :S so if im on facebook, press the back button, instead of going to the previous page. and i also set up the draw thing to unlock it, but as it was raining a little it said i entered it wrong too many times and asked for the google mail thing... but i really have no rememberence of making one, which is so ******* annyoying.
the only way ive found out to solve this problem is doin a phone software update, however as my bottom right button is working properly, everytime i hold it down to plug the phones usb, the phone just starts normally, so basically i cannot do the system update.
Since I have purchaed the X10 ( The Flag Ship) phone of SE I have yet to see or hear 1 adervertisment on tv or radio.I see and hear about every other android and non android phone on the market but no Sony X10. What im trying to day is if this phone is so great then why dont I hear any thing about it.This is your (The Flag Ship) phone,or is it?.If this were my baby Id yell & shout to the massas as to how great this product is.Sony, I think we would like to know why do you not market your (Flag Ship Phone) like the rest off your competitors.I live in Canada and mabey its not a big deal here but I will tell you that I hear about the other androids so often Im starting to lose faith in my choice of phones. Anyways having purchased 3 SE phones I think that I will give the X10 a fair chance.

Go to the GMail app, select add account, fill in the metrics and then...... "Needs to communicate" message for ~ 3 minutes, then bombs out with - "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server". 3G is fine, on a wifi connection that is fine, web browser works fine..... Google Apps account works fine.

If i change from default English to Lithuanian, no Lithuanian symbols appear, everything stays as it was still in English. I tried changing to Russian, to see if it is just a bug with Lithuanian input, - Russian works fine. Perhaps there are some shortcuts for typing Lihuanian symbols that i don't know?

There was a message mentionning i would lose data if I do so, but why is my phonebook that is normally on my sim card disappeared since I re adjusted google sync? This is ridiculous, lost years of contacts... please tell me there is a way to get my phonebook back... and that there is no link with what I did with Google sync...
View 1 Replies View RelatedNot only will the app 'maps' not complete loading but I have major problems getting the Internet. I have checked the network coverage and it doesn't appear to be that but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Also my keyboard keeps changing too i even get Japanese on it.
This one's gotta be real easy, but my setting for this item is grayed out. I am unable to change it. I have a new google account which I would like to use with the mini Pro-phone. Please let me know how to change this google account information.
