When i 1st got my x10 i registred my phone with the google account on the menu, well i've forgot my e-mail address with google. Anyway my phone was in my pocket and has locked up asking me to enter my google account details but like i say i forgot the details, didnt think i needed to remember them as i was always signed into the account on my phone, so does anybody know how i can get this sorted.

I was searching through google for my problem with my xperia x10 and I found this forum which should help me! Basically I forgot my pattern unlock and I tried it 5 times and I had to unlock it with my google account. I've tried 2 google accounts and they wont sign in and they work on my laptop! Its been locked all day and its not unlocking!

The trouble being he has no idea what his Google account details are. He knows neither his email address or his password. He's never sent an email from his Gmail and never set up an emergency email account for recovery purposes. I've scoured the Internet for a solution but if all you have is your phone number, there doesn't seem to be any way to reinstate your account. His phone isn't rooted as he's not that kind of user. View 1 Replies View RelatedFew days ago i had trouble with the keyboard of my X10, it was, for unknown reason, lock in Korean and i couldn't change it.So i decided to reset my phone to factory setup. This worked and the keyboard came back to french.But now i can't access to any Google app, as Market, Gmail, etc.It's asking me to log in to my google account (it never ask me that before, even when i bought the phone), but it's always telling me that my password is wrong and advice me to connect http:/google.com/accounts on my PC. I did it and i can access to my google account without any problem.Then i updated my phone to Android 2.1, but it didn't solve anything, i tried to repair it with Update service and PC Companion, but it didn't help more.I found on internet that i could put "null" as my password, but then it's asking me to reproduce a capcha, i did but it's asking me to reproduce another one, again and again.I noticed than my phone seems to have some trouble to connect with my SIM card, don't know if it's link.I don't really want to send my phone to repair for 3 weeks, but this is becoming really annoying, what can i do ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had to deactivate the Google account (due to a privacy issue) that I was using on my laptop and it was the one I was using on the phone also. Now that I've deactivated it, I am no longer able to use the android apps, or change things within the phone because on not being able to log into that account. The login page comes up with the old account asking me for my password, but of course, like I said, it is no longer in use, and it doesn't let me change the user name as I've made another goggle account. I have tried to change things in the settings, but all I've done it seems is to have screwed it up more.

I tried "Sony Ericsson Xperia Customer Care, No Use. I'm tired of doing this and I'm frustrated of not using any useful application by having this costly xperia in my hand.
My phone is not able to communicate with any google server and as a result I cant access the Market, Facebook, Email and other such features which require a google account. It is showing "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server." This persists since I bought the phone about two weeks ago.

View 20 Replies View Relatedright so the bottom buttons were working fine, but the next day, the back button takes me to the home screen :S so if im on facebook, press the back button, instead of going to the previous page. and i also set up the draw thing to unlock it, but as it was raining a little it said i entered it wrong too many times and asked for the google mail thing... but i really have no rememberence of making one, which is so ******* annyoying.
the only way ive found out to solve this problem is doin a phone software update, however as my bottom right button is working properly, everytime i hold it down to plug the phones usb, the phone just starts normally, so basically i cannot do the system update.
I realize Im not yet a boffin, so pls. be patient with me. how to I retrieve sms 'details'? the date and time it was sent etc? I cant seem to find it as easily on this phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am from India where we guys don't have branded phones and all. one of my good friends working at Sony Ericsson India told me last night that on 23rd Sep India and UK generic will see the update most probably . update will be ota. about 206 mb and no multi touch no 16m colours , you will be able to store apps to SD card. better timescape widget , live wallpapers,hd recording , no flash light for camera , 5 home screens. another update in Dec which is internally known as 2.1.3 will give single fingers zoom , 16m colors and flash for the browser! x10 will see 2.2 in Feb after the release of eclario also known as x12"
Not sure how much of this is really true as I've already read that the 2.1 update has got 16m colours from an internet source that claims to have had a hands on.
At least it's good to see that SE have implemented the apps to SD card and flash for browser from Froyo to 2.1.
Not really sure what to believe until we have it on our beloved X10's so best take everything you read on the internet concerning the X10 2.1 update with a pinch of salt .
A good review. Even though, the unit they reviewed is a "near final retail" unit, they said it is really fast, only time they noticed lag was in the gallery and it was minuscule.
I was a bit apprehensive about getting this phone because it runs Android 1.6 but it seems like the difference between 1.6 and 2.1 is not that much of a deal breaker.
