I bought a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 a day back but i couldnt find Android market icon on my phone? Is there a way i can reinstall or flash my mobile phone so that it goes back to factory settings where i can have Android market icon? I tried upgrading to latest version and it says its up to date.

Noticed with my fone over the last couple of days. when i try download something from the market it keeps coming up saying this app couldnt be downloaded at this time try again later and have already and it still says the same.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have another doubt on how to install the apps. As my handset is missing the Android Market icon in my mobile. So I downloaded to my pc and then copied to my mobile. This "7c02815a-e245-102d-a194-6ec07c99d928.apk" file for bluetooth file transfer and using data cable. I copied that file in my video folder (for self knowing folder I pasted) now I don't see that file in my mobile video folder. So how will I install? There are no icons like "Android Market", "Installer Application", or "Application Installer" etc. I am using Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro and 1.6 firmware.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Xperia x10 mini yesterday, and one of the first things I did was to set it up for WiFi in my house (which I already have 2 laptops and a stationary PC connected to). Setting it up was easy and quick, but my phone doesn't find the network, not even if I am standing right beside the router. I have tried to restart the WiFi connection, restart my phone, delete and re-add the home connection, but the phone still doesn't connect to the network.
The network's SSID isn't broadcasted for security reasons, could this be the problem? When I search for networks, it doesn't find any 'unnamed' networks like the windows pcs do. (which is normally the one I need to connect to.) Is there something wrong with my hardware? Or my software (my phone is completely up-to-date)? (Except broadcast the SSID, which is not an option..)

When the phones visibility is on (form a poxy 120 secs) no other phone in my house can find it or send it any files etc. Is there a general problem with bluetooth on this phone that i am unaware of?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI dunno, After using the SE Satio and C905, those cameras are MUCH better than this one, Considering those were so great I was positive this one was going to be excellent! Its definitely not bad, but for an 8mp camera its not that great, Its like the W995, it has an 8mp camera on it and its WAY under par, does NOT take good pictures. Anyway Im not really disappointed or anything I just found it a bit under-par, Im willing to bet that the 5mp camera on the Galaxy S will be better than this one, The BEST cameras on cell phones Ive ever used are the Omnia HD and the Satio.
Also Something Ive noticed about all the android phones Ive used, the way they take pictures is.....awkward. Its hard to explain but when I used the satio and C905, they way they took pictures it felt like a real camera, Ive used the Hero, N1, and now X10 and they way they shoot the pics it just doesn't feel the same, again hard to explain without you using so....
Following on from the "autolock after phone calls" discussion thread which did not seem to get resolved, I heard that Dialer One was a neat dialer than the built in X10 dialer (and hopefully does not autolock after phone calls), but I could not find it anywhere in the market. Would anyone know where I can find the APK to download?
