Nov 29, 2010Recently I have experience this problem, I have downloaded some aplication from Market, it's already 100% but it's not installed on my phone, when I click on it, still said downloading, even it's already 100% and I have been waiting 1 hours, is there any way to resuming download manually? If I press cancel download, it will start from 0 and will happen again, getting tired with this :'( but this is not always happen to all application, mostly big size application.

Nov 13, 2010Earlier in 1.6 after I look for a contact and view it and press back. It used to come to that position itself but now whenever I press back after viewing a contact, it goes back to the initial position of contacts (i.e. the contacts starting with letter A).
Example in 2.1, if I view a contact (say named "xyz") and press back, it takes me to the starting list of contacts but no such problem was there in 1.6 version. That is after I press back, it took me to the same list of contacts I was viewing earlier (in this case xyz,xy** etc.)

I open th recent call list and click one of the recent calls but instead of dialing that contact my phone dials a different contact which is different altogather. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: WORNG MY Phone Numbers
May 18, 2010I got my X10 on a new contract (with 3 UK) and got a new mobile number with it. I then ported my existing number over with a PUK code. This took a couple of days, and while I was waiting I mucked about with the phone using the new number that 3 had given me. After the PUK transfer took place, my X10 still thinks that "My number" in the phonebook is the new number that 3 UK gave me, not the one I subsequently ported across.
So, if I go into the phonebook the bit at the top where it says "My number" is wrong. I can edit that default contact, but there's no option to edit the main phone number for it - all I can do is add extra numbers. I've been digging around a bit, and I found the phone number set in Settings > About phone > Status. Again, it can't be edited here. It's also viewable (but not editable) through the Service menu (#*#*4636*#*#). It's not a big deal, but it's annoying because it doesn't recognise "me" in Timescape when looking at messaging conversations with someone (on the Infinity button). So far all SE support have said is the standard "check you've got an up-to-date SIM card" (which I have, and which is what they always say when they're trying to get rid of someone).

Nov 26, 2010I lost most of my contacts on update to 2.1. BUT - there is this facebook sync thing that looks really cool.
I tried this, and now, opening my Phonebook shows all my facebook friends with their facebook profile pic, and number (if they have entered one on facebook). Sweet! Less work for me!
BUT - a lot of my facebook friends do not put their number on their profile, so I need to add the number for these Phonebook contacts. However, there seems to be no way of adding a phone number for them; and these people do not appear when I want to select a contact to send a text to? What is that all about? How do you add phone numbers to contacts that were synced in through facebook, so you can then select them when you want to call or text them?

Nov 15, 2010I received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.
But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.

Oct 15, 2010I have an experia x10 mini pro and I am having problems with charging it. Sometimes it would charge then sometimes it wouldn't and it is already annoying the **** out of me. Another problem with it is that when I play music with it, it would just suddenly turn off by itself. I've tried to send it for fixing to sony ericson but they said that the problem is unfixable. And I only had my phone for 1 and a half month and im already having this problem. I tried to reason with the ericson people but they said there is nothing they could do.
If anyone has any idea on how to fix this.
