I got my Fascinate yesterday and today idk if its just me but today I noticed when scroll the notification screen down, I see a band of unusual green but when I scroll up to my home screen nothing happens. I tried dead pixel test and nothing showed up. Is it a software issue? or a hardware issue?

I've noticed when on some website such as phandroid which contains blue. On the epic its more turquoise. and with sites that have green it is way too green. Is it just my epic?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIve been noticing over the last few days is that there is a small green line, or something like a green hue on the volume side of the screen when i have the market open, browser open. when i pull down the notification bar its really evident that there is a green line next to the wifi button.
View 16 Replies View Relatedmy brand new samsung fascinate just went white. I went to push the button on the side to unlock it, and just lit up white. I went to do a hard reset and it did not solve the problem. When i restart phone, i can hear the phone start up music, and the soft buttons on the front work, but all i see is bright white. I had someone call me, and my phone rang, yet all i saw was a bright screen. When it goes idol to black, it wont turn back on at all.

I have been living in the Netherlands at the moment and it rains quite a bit in here. Since I don't mind jogging in the rain, I would also like an arm band that would be just as resilient and also keeps the phone in one place rather than having it it bouncing it my pocket. So if you can recommend something, I would really appreciate it. I have been looking at the one from belkin but I don't even know if it will fit this phone.

Same thing on my vibrant. I'd take a picture or video of it but i dont think it will show on camera.

It happens when I'm in the browser, email app, etc. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason behind it.
Is there a way to force the phone onto the 850mhz gsm band for ATT. I just want to be able to use this phone inside my work. My xenon workerd fine inside buildings and never disconnected. This one disconnects frequently.

Might just be my first Android phone (coming from the Omnia II)
I have advanced task killer on my phone but am amazed at the numbers of processes it seems to kill. I have the ones I know I need set not to close down like adw launcher the HTC keyboard etc however it regularly reports its closed down 40 + processes when I run it.The I run it a few moments later, not having launched anything, and it reports shutting down another 20 or so.Is this right?Could this be the cause of the lagging? I am currently running JM5 firmware which seemed amazing to start with but now seems as laggy as it was before.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried flashing reliance India prl file using qpst build355 on my samsung epic, after the re-boot it is not working shows in the airline mode. there is a circle with a line on the point wher signal bars appear, and the base band version and hardware version shows as unknown.
tried flashing the original samsung rom again using oden but after that also it has the same problem can anyone help me with this.
Looks like all of the models have something good, but all have something missing. I appreciate differentiation, but this seems silly. Tmo gets 16gb built in, but no flash or FFC (not that I would us a FFC).Sprint gets a keyboard, but not the 16gb built in.Verizon's seems the weakest features of the litter in regards to built in memory (2 wimpy gigs)Best option to me would be the Sprint verison, but with 16gb built in. BTW, where is the flash for camera on the Tmo? Crazy.Samsung should change name to Silly sung.These differences would only be good for the consumer if on the same carrier and still options are too spread out. None of the devices have the complete feature set of the models. Makes zero sense to anyone but Samsung.
View 5 Replies View Relatedfirst time i killed EVERY task & ran it.. i got an 879 (imo seems WAY too low) i mean the last benchmark i ran was on my D2 which was defective but i was still like double 1400 (i know that had 2.2 & this doesnt) but its a Galaxy S shouldnt it at least be 1000 area? post your benchmarks please
EDIT : i ran it one more time after that & got an 877 .. both times btw it said i had an internal error AFTER i saw the score..

View 6 Replies View Related1. I am not able to run USSD codes on my GalaxyS-I9000. Whenever I dial any USSD it says "USSD Code Running" and then it disappears, nothing happens after this.
2. Every time after I hung up a call in my old cell/any other cell it use to show the balance amount I have (prepaid card) and last call cost, but in my GalaxyS its not showing anything after the call.
