I tried flashing reliance India prl file using qpst build355 on my samsung epic, after the re-boot it is not working shows in the airline mode. there is a circle with a line on the point wher signal bars appear, and the base band version and hardware version shows as unknown.
tried flashing the original samsung rom again using oden but after that also it has the same problem can anyone help me with this.

I have been having trouble updating my PRL (esp. to get the battery fix without switching to airplane mode, since it messes up with the GPS) I have tried it with good/bad reception and I always get the same message "unknown error". Is it a deal breaker (should I return/exchange my Epic? Does the Airplane on/off fix messes up with the GPS permanently?

View 8 Replies View RelatedPer the title, there are new versions of Maps and Street View in the market. The Maps update is just to add walking directions I think and the street view was a more polished update. Street view doesn't work after install, at least on my Epic. I open maps, pick a road and long-click on it. A balloon pops up saying "Loading address" for about 30 seconds then give me a pop-up error that says "Data Connection Lost, Retrying" But, data is working just fine on the phone everywhere else. Try rebooting the phone after install, it helped. Still some errors but much better than before. It is awesome when it works. Try compass mode.

I have been living in the Netherlands at the moment and it rains quite a bit in here. Since I don't mind jogging in the rain, I would also like an arm band that would be just as resilient and also keeps the phone in one place rather than having it it bouncing it my pocket. So if you can recommend something, I would really appreciate it. I have been looking at the one from belkin but I don't even know if it will fit this phone.

I tried dead pixel test and nothing showed up. Is it a software issue? or a hardware issue?

I am having my Galaxy S delivered tomorrow and was wondering what protection people are using. I was going to use some sort of film protector, such as Zagg invisible shield and a Flip Case. But the only flip case I can find for the Galaxy S looks horrid, and I am not sure on the texture of Zagg Invisible Shields.I have also considered silicone gel cases, but I am having trouble finding one that is nice, and pouches in combo with a screen protector.What would you use and if I did buy a screen protector, which brand should it be, I want one that will protect but with minimum difference to the feel or colour of the screen.

Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?
