How come samsung app store has like 6apps or someting in it on the galaxy s?is this a joke?and when i try to install an app woth kies i can't.will this problem get fixed with froyo?

Tonight I was setting another album to offline in Spotify when it reported I ccouldn't save any more music. Bit puzzled seeing as i've got a 16gb SD card in there. Turns out Spotify is only using the internal SD card :S totally burnt out my 8gb already! I see no option in Spotify to select where to place the offline store, anyone else in the ssame 8gb boat?

What causes this? I've been running these apps forever and all different roms. Apps like HD Widgets and Adobe Flash Player are a couple that are doing this. Is there a way to fix this or is it a per-ROM problem?

I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and i am banging my head against the wall because Play store won't open or do anything when connected to my wifi. it is however functional when wifi is turned off and only mobile data is active. Things i've tried (and still not working)
1. Cleared cache and data for Play store, google services, download manager and download.
2. uninstalled updates
3. Have tried seeing if anything has disabled and it hasn't, the last app on my 'all' is you tube
4. reset my phone to factory settings.
I feel like a pleb as I had this problem when I first got the phone but the clearing cache and data worked then and was fine for weeks but now nothing seems to work.
My daughters samsung galaxy 3 is connected to the internet but won't connect to play store.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was uninstalling bloatware from my samsung galaxy victory after rooting, and in the process, accidentally deleted the play store. I re-downloaded the latest .apk for the play store, installed it, and when I open it, it crashes and says "unfortunately, google play store has stopped". I looked up tp see if there were any solutions, and many sources said to gp to settings>app. management>google play>force stop, clear data, clear cache. that didnt work. I tried installing older play store apk's, all giving the same error.
View 4 Replies View RelatedGetting "no connection" when I try to run Play Store app on my LG Optimus L9, rooted phone. I've tried everything I could find on various forums to fix this. Adjusted date/time, switched from manual date/time and back to auto from internet, deleted "hosts" file from the system/etc folder, emptied cache and wiped data from the app using titanium backup, and some other things I can't even remember now. I found a site where I could download a more current version of the Play Store app in an apk file and install it (AndroidPolice site). Is that likely to fix this "no connection" issue? I currently have android 4.1.2, and my Playstore app is 4.0.25. I've also wiped data and cleared cache and restored Google Play services. I haven't tried uninstalling either Play Services or Play Store because I'm afraid to do that. I did use Autorun Manager to make them not load on reboot, but that didn't change anything, so I set them back to automatically load. I also tried freezing them both and separately one at a time.

I have a brand-new SGS GT-I9000 (in Romania),but for now I don't have anymobile internet connection.But I want to install apps on my phone,and I know it's possible with SDK Android.So I installed SDK Android (last version has USB driver included,so I installed it too from SDK) and.I don't know what to do next.First of all, do I need another driver to be installed for my SGS (the drivers for SGS were installed with Kies, I presume)?And then, how do I connect phone in USB mode and , especially, how to use command prompt (I'm a dummy on that thing?? When I open command prompt, it's a screen with "c:>" - how can I erase this from command prompt and type adb install etc.?)Please explain me step by step what to do.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently got myself a Motorola Droid X and my wife the Samsung Galaxy S. I can install apps on the Motorola until my heart is content but they fail on the Galaxy. It goes through the motions of downloading and then throws an error that the dowload failed. It does not give a reason for the failure. Is this phone modified by Verizon not to allow apps or did I get a bad phone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedBig problem, I was using my phone and it ended up crashing and stalling. Took phone battery out and put back in to restart the unit. Now on startup it shows me the galaxy s gt1m900 scrren, then turns off. If the power is plugged in, it will loop continiously. No clue how to get it back up and running, I did manage to get to the "downloading - do not turn off phone" screen but thats as different of a result i could get..

I have a strange problem with my Galaxy S. I have unlimited mobile internet(3G), but not all Apps work.
For example when I am on the mobile internet network, de standard Internet browser does not work. It just displays a white page whatever I'm trying to load.Other programs say there is no internet connection avaible or just don't respond.
However there are 2 programs that d� work. Opera Mini and eBuddy can work with Wi-Fi and 3G. Other Apps like to check if it's gonna rain, or a News RSS viewer etcetera does not work.They only do with Wi-Fi.I have no clue what to search for and also no idea if it's my mobile phone or my provider(it's named 'Hi', it's dutch).
I have the samsung mesmorize. I has a usb cord, but when I plug it in, there is no program. Is it just charging from my computer or is there a program I can use to back everything up? I had to reset my phone and had to spend the better part of a day getting back to the way it was. Please help.
