Apr 13, 2012i have been unable to move/install apps to my sd card ever since changing to MIUI I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the ROM or not (i think i may have insalled applications to SD on a previous GB version of MIUI)
I am using a rooted Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 with the latest MIUI based on 4.0.4. before MIUI i was on CM7 stable and i remember messing around with some settings there to try and get my phone to read music off the sd card as well as internal memory-(where all my downloaded music was going). Oct 30, 2010Is anyone else experiencing problems downloading and running apps from the market due to low memory issues? Why did they only put 512MB of internal memory for app storage on this Epic when the AT&T galaxy version got 8GB of internal memory in addition to the 16GB micro Sd card???
My memory is full now, and without android 2.2 I can't move apps to the SD card. They should have provided all of their galaxy class phones with the 8GB internal memory.

I have the Samsung Galaxy Rush. I tried downloading apps to move it but it says there is an option 'move to sd card' and there isn't. Is it not reading the micro sd card right? I tried moving simple apps, messenger, bubble worlds, fruit ninja, whale trails, things like that but all it said was clear cache and no other options. I downloaded a few of these apps to transfer to the sd but they didn't work. I don't really know what to do because it says I have little space but the sd card is in there. It has 7 gigs of space but nothing is on it. How do I transfer my apps?

I called to Samsung support in finland and they said that i have to format the sd card and after that you can transfer some very few applicatoins to sd card but however i have not managed to transfer even one application. I found from youtube some kind of way, but there was like downloading some program to computer and then connecting the sd card and phone separately to computer and then giving some commands to computer and copy and cut and clicking thousands folders and some more stuff i didnt really understand the whole thing was really complicated. I am starting to be really frustrated for this problem or whatever it is, its just stupid to even put this kind of faulty "function" to any kind of smart phone. In every other way samsung galaxy xcover 2 is very excellent and easy to use, but i think transfering apps to sd is very important function/tool. Nov 18, 2013I has a galaxy 4 like 2 month with my micro sd of san disk 16gb class 4 it work perfect for me and I decide to purchase a 64gb from ebay I bought a samsung card 64gb class 10..and now start the problem.
I insert the card to phone and it ask me to format it..I did it and after format I see in available free storage is 0.0 I take it out and format in comuter to fat32 ensure that is writeable and put it my phone I can see the card and I can see what have in it but when I try to move/copy some thing to the card from phone its give me a pop up message "the move/copy canceled"
So I take it out and put on my tablet and its work perfectly.
