I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, rooted and running AOKP build 38. There are several key apps that show as "not compatible with my device" in the Google Play Store. What causes this? I've been running these apps forever and all different roms. Apps like HD Widgets and Adobe Flash Player are a couple that are doing this. Is there a way to fix this or is it a per-ROM problem?

I have CM10.1 20130210 on my phone. (Had 20130208 when I noticed the problem, But I dont think thats the cause). I normally check for CM updates & Play Store every night. Yesterday I wanted to check the Play Store but when I opened it it took me straight to the Categories page (It normally takes me to some "General Featured" page).
When I go into any of the categories it takes me to another categories menu (Example: Games>Racing/Puzzle/Action/Etc.) then if I enter any of those it just takes me to a grey screen, As if there were no apps.
I tried going into My Apps & Its blank. If I go into the All tab though they all show, Clicking on one of those apps does take me to its page & If I try to download a previously uninstalled app it does download and work properly.
Something very weird: The same thing happens in the Webstore, No app shows when going into Editor's Choice & When manually going into the categories its just blank. Going into app pages via my own apps do work.
I've tried clearing the data of the Play Store (Settings>Apps>All>Google Play Store>Clear Data)
I've tried reflashing my phone (Thats why I went from 20130208 to 20130210)
I've tried Force Stopping, Clearing data & Rebooting
I've tried unsyncing & Resyncing my Google Account
I've tried uninstalling & Reinstalling Gapps (goo.im/gapps)
I've tried unsyncing account, Force stopping & Wiping Google Play Services, Store & Services Framework. Then uninstalling them & Reinstalling. Resyncing Google account & Going back in. Still nothing. (At this point Im pissed)
I've tried changing the DPI from 320 (Default) to 220, 200, 300, Etc. Nothing...
A few days ago I flashed a vanilla 4.2.2 ROM to my Nexus 4 and restored the Titanium backup to it. Today I realized that when I get apps from the Play Store website, they never get downloaded to the device. Downloading via Play Store app works fine. View 1 Replies View RelatedSo about a month ago I flashed the Google Play Edition ROM on my Verizon S4 and when I did I had no LTE. So I fiddled around with the radio and mobile setting for a while but every time I would change it to either LTE/CDMA/GSM or LTE/CDMA it would change back to GSM/CDMA. Eventually somehow I got it to connect to LTE then never touched it. But one day I had no service and couldn't figure out why until I checked the radio settings again and saw that it was connected to GSM/CDMA. I changed it back but to LTE/CDMA but when I exit out of the radio setting it just resets back to GSM/CDMA.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently rooted my Galaxy Nexus (LTE) and flashed it to 4.0.4 stock. After I did this nearly everything that I typed would be underlined as incorrectly spelled. It seems to me that there is no dictionary for the spell check to use.
How to add the dictionary back?
I signed in to Google Play using my own personal email address, as I figured that would be the easiest way to manage my account. Lo and behold, a year later there are now four Android devices on my Google Play account (my S3, a Nexus 7, a 2013 Nexus 7, and a Kindle Fire running AOSP). When setting up these other devices, I could not figure out how to set up my account for only Google Play. I have sync disabled for things such as GMail and Hangouts, but they can still manually switch to my account in the respective apps. I have Googled around and cannot find any solution, though I think some of that may have to do with me having no idea how to word my search queries. Is there any way to set this up, or will I have to make an entirely new Google account for the entire family? I have not purchased many apps (no more than $30), but the two Nexuses (Nexi?) that are not rooted will lose all of their app data.

Play store had been opening and working correctly until just 2 days ago, the last things I downloaded through it were "Freeze" and "1Weather".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use my google account on 2 devices: galaxy s3 and nexus 10 tab.i recently flashed on my s3 a paranoid rom. there, i was asked to sign in to my google account (like always when u set up a phone) but then it downloaded automatically all apps i had on my phone before (under play store ALL) and id also knew, which apps i just use on my tablet and did not install those! know, i finally found which rom i prefer to use from now on (cyanomod).
How to force playstore to restore the device like id happend on the other rom? and NO, have no other backups of my app, and the app data is not importent, i just dont want to download all apps manually.
Sometimes my dad grounds me from using some of my chat apps that i use to talk to all of my friends. He always checks the Google Play Store on my phone and looks under My Apps and then All so he can see if i've downloaded one of them. If i download it from the play store it will show up here, even if i've already deleted it. I used to be able to get around this by downloading the .apk file for the app from another website, and not from the play store. That way it wouldn't show up in the My Apps section. But the other day i did this and the app still showed up in the My Apps part of the play store, even though i didn't download it from there.
Is another way to download an app so it doesn't show up after i delete it?

I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and i am banging my head against the wall because Play store won't open or do anything when connected to my wifi. it is however functional when wifi is turned off and only mobile data is active. Things i've tried (and still not working)
1. Cleared cache and data for Play store, google services, download manager and download.
2. uninstalled updates
3. Have tried seeing if anything has disabled and it hasn't, the last app on my 'all' is you tube
4. reset my phone to factory settings.
I feel like a pleb as I had this problem when I first got the phone but the clearing cache and data worked then and was fine for weeks but now nothing seems to work.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed the modded playstore on my Stock Galaxy S4 ROM so I could disable self-updates, but it didn't work. When I went to uninstall the cracked play store launcher, it still said I had the cracked play store. I used TBP to restore the play store/google services framework to an older point and then I wiped the Delvik cache, but when I rebooted it said I still had the cracked version.
I have ClockworkMod recovery but I didn't do a nandroid backup before I installed the cracked play store, and I don't want to factory reset my phone.

The two by martetrut and the casino one. I tried searching my phone for any trace of these apps and found nothing other than their appearance on this list.
Today, I looked at my list and now more mystery apps have appeared, with another app by that martetrut dev.

Mostly, I am interested in the Play Store. Can I extract it from the stock Nexus ROM? Which files do I need? Again, I don't want to download some gapps.zip, but want to know the procedure myself. (I've tried installing some apps from the apps/ directory in the stock rom, only Maps.apk did work.)
