When I try to send a picture message the little circle just spins and spins and never sends it. I called T-Mobile today and the woman took me through some settings but it still doesn't work.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if anyone else is having problems with their Samsung Captivate sending picture messages. THEY WON'T send! This is the 2nd phone I've had because the other one was having "seizure like activity" and this is the new one I got yesterday and it STILL WILL NOT send picture messages. I tried directly from the pictur and also by creating a new message and attaching the file.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Hero Sprint, phone. My service provider is not sprint, i live in Alaska and have ACS as my provider. I was told that my phone will not do picture messaging, and that it was a phone limitation not a network one. Other users have picture messaging on their blackberries. Can someone recommend a good app for SMS and MMS that might allow me to send picture messages.
View 12 Replies View RelatedOne problem, everytime i send a picture message to my friends they only get "Message Corrupt" and they cant open it. One of my friends has a 'Desire' and he can open it fine. i can recieve pic messages ok. Have spoke to my service provider, they cant help me at all. They did try for 2 hrs this morning. I have 14 days to leave this phone back, it would be a shame to leave this back because of a messaging problem. but i will as picture messaging adds a bit of fun to your phone.

I downloaded Handcent App and I would love to use it, but When I do use it, I get text messages sent to the App I downloaded, and to the default text messaging that came with the hero. How can I make my text messages only send to Handcent SMS instead of Both? I'm new at having a cell phone that has so much you can do with it, so I will probably have tons of more questions, but these are the 2 questions that I would love to be figured out first and then eventually I will ask others when I have them.

We tried everything over the phone to try to get around the issue without having to reflash. Any other ideas? I tried pulling the battery for 2 minutes, changing the MSID number.The MSID number won't stay.It goes back to 0000000. Any other ideas or is reflashing the way to go?

As title - having tried everything I could find already suggested, I've completely run out of options. I'm unable to set the picture size taken by the camera on the Samsung Galaxy.
I don't set preview size anywhere and I've tried the ShutterCallback trick. On checking the camera parameters before and after attempting to change the size, I get the correct results - the camera *reports* that its size has now been changed... however, the size of the byte array I'm receiving in the onPictureTaken() callback is only consistent with the camera's default (enormous) image - and forces an OutOfMemoryError when I attempt to decode it into a bitmap!

No matter what I do I cannot make the final camera image be smaller than the gigantic 5MP which effectively crashes the poor old BitmapFactory.

Boy, it feels like going all the way back to J2ME.
I'm trying to get Facebook profile pictures assigned to internal phone contacts, but cant get it to work. I installed the recently updated Facebook app, at the first launch it asked me if I want to sync my contacts, I selected Sync with exisiting contacts (later I selected Sync all since first option didnt work) but still profile pictures are not being fetched. I can now see facebook contacts in my main contact list, and I can link them with my phone contacts (manually), but profile picture is still blank. When I click the View profile (facebook) link of a particular contact I'm taken to my profile page instead of the person i clicked on. And when I select Edit and go to Facebook tab there is an error with an exclamation mark with the message "Unable to edit SNS contacts on phone".
