HTC Hero :: Send Picture Messages Corruption

One problem, everytime i send a picture message to my friends they only get "Message Corrupt" and they cant open it. One of my friends has a 'Desire' and he can open it fine. i can recieve pic messages ok. Have spoke to my service provider, they cant help me at all. They did try for 2 hrs this morning. I have 14 days to leave this phone back, it would be a shame to leave this back because of a messaging problem. but i will as picture messaging adds a bit of fun to your phone.

I have an HTC Hero Sprint, phone. My service provider is not sprint, i live in Alaska and have ACS as my provider. I was told that my phone will not do picture messaging, and that it was a phone limitation not a network one. Other users have picture messaging on their blackberries. Can someone recommend a good app for SMS and MMS that might allow me to send picture messages.

Why am I not able to send Picture messages? Every time I try to send a picture through text messaging, it says I cannot do it. Why? I downloaded Handcent App and I would love to use it, but When I do use it, I get text messages sent to the App I downloaded, and to the default text messaging that came with the hero. How can I make my text messages only send to Handcent SMS instead of Both? I'm new at having a cell phone that has so much you can do with it, so I will probably have tons of more questions, but these are the 2 questions that I would love to be figured out first and then eventually I will ask others when I have them.

I can't seem to send picture messages on my UK Three Hero.It looks like the message has gone and it shows the time send but the other person just doesn't receive it.If I go into my conversation there does appear to be a speech box with a timer at the side of it. What on earth does that mean?

I can send and receive normal texts, but not pictures. When I try to send a picture, it says "Message not sent." "MMS not supported by network." "Server response error." And when someone tries to send me a picture, I was directed to a website called viewmymessage.com.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 with AT&T.

Please can someone help me, I have just bought the X10 phone, it was original on voda phone network but has been unlocked so I can put my virgin Sim card in, when I try to send a picture message I get a message saying 'unable to send, message will be sent when service becomes available'. Does anyone know what I need to do.

I have had my mini pro for around 2months now, it is on o2. i have all the correct mms setting installed and yet i still can not send picture messages.i can recieve them fine..but CANT NOT SEND THEM.WHY, am actually debating about getting rid of this phone as i have tried everything and yet nothing works.

How do you send picturemail with the HTC Hero? I used to do this with my old phone all the time. You see something interesting, snap a photo, and quickly send it to a friend.With the Hero, when I select a photo, and try to "Share" it via a "Message", it always says, "Message size limit reached. Sorry, you cannot attach this to your message."I guess this is because the filesize is so large (5 megapixels!)

I've had my Hero for about a month now, and ever since, I've had to reset it twice; once because I couldn't receive a call, and the second time because it was stuck on a notification sound and wouldn't change, no matter what.
The problem now is that I cannot send a picture message. I constantly get an error message saying that the 'message format is corrupted'. I've tried to take this issue to my carrier's tech support team only to discover I'm having yet another issue: a few of my contacts get deleted if I try to use HTC Sync to back my contacts list up so that I can preform a master reset.

I am wondering if anyone else is having problems with their Samsung Captivate sending picture messages. THEY WON'T send! This is the 2nd phone I've had because the other one was having "seizure like activity" and this is the new one I got yesterday and it STILL WILL NOT send picture messages. I tried directly from the pictur and also by creating a new message and attaching the file.

Have any of you have success sending a picture to multiple contacts at once? I use Handcent Sms for my texts. I tried once and it didn't send anything. All I saw was the little green icon to the right of the text loading and loading like it was trying to send it. I tried to send a pic to 3 people at once. I canceled the picture and tried to individually send the picture and it wouldn't do it. I had kill the app and turn my Hero off and turn it back on in order for it to work.

I am wondering if you guys have found a way to send or receive mms on your heroes and what version of android yours is running. Mine is running 1.5 and is the round hero, not the newest one. I also cannot find a place anywhere to send mms. Also, how do I snap a picture of my current screen, or do I need an app for that?

First off the phone is not rooted or flash and I am using handcent. Now to the problem. If I'm looking st my contacts all the pictures show. However when I receive an incoming call or message the picture is not on there. When I receive a call it doesn't even show up on my caller id it just shows the number. I have updated the prl and profile from another issue that I'm still having trouble with. The longer I have this phone the more problems I'm having.

You know how you can click on "send message" in People?
and it used to as how do you want to send the txt msg - through the phone's msg app or through google's GV app
well... I've clicked "set as default" (or was it "use this method from now on" - anyway, words to that effect) and now i can't change it!!
anyone know how to change the default?
(and before anyone says "menu" or "long press" - i've already tried it!!)

1. I connect my phone to my PC and copy mp3 files to the phone's sd card. But then immediately when it's done it's all gone again! The files just don't stay there.
2. Taking photos, lots of them age getting corrupted.
Could this be a quality issue with the SD card?? Admittedly i got 32gb for only $50. Could it be as simple as that ?

Since this is of EXTREME importance to me I wanted to make sure I go about this in the right process and only talk to the very best professionals/most knowledgeable on the site. It involves the Police removing videos from my phone after I was taken into custody. So a lil extra spice for an otherwise boring question. I took out my micro sd card so nothing else writes to it and am waiting to hear back from you guys. The goal is to prove that I was in custody when the videos were deleted-(Police corruption) and to also restore them to prove my innocence.

I have an EVO. My emaiul is synced with the server at work so I use Outlook. When I attach a picture to an email with Outlook Ecxchange Active Sync via our server at work I receive an error. "Delivery to the following recipipients was aborted after 3 seconds. " The settings on my phone allow for the all file sizes. The pic is 1.3MB . I don't see anyting else on the phone that would prevent the attachment from not sending. Please advise if any phone setting I'm missing that are causing the problem.

Well I've looked at all 31 pages in this forum and search and I'm probably not searching right but I still can't find anything.We've got two EVo's on our plan and my husband just brought it to my attention that he is not receiving pictures that have texted to him. So I sent one and while I didn't receive any kind of message that it didn't go, he didn't receive it.He turned around and took a picture and sent it to me and I didn't receive it.It's probably a setting but I can't find it, can someone please direct me in the right direction

I use "Handcent" and it gives me the option to "Download" then it says "Downloading" and it just goes back to "Download" I never see the picture. I uninstalled handcent and tried the stock messaging app and it does the same thing. Any ideas?
