Everyone complains about that I sound like I am in a "tunnel". is there a fix for this and will the 2.2 possibly help this? Also, my screen is very glitchy does everyone have that problem? One more thing. I will go to the call list and tap on the person I want to call and it will call someone else. I love the phone and the interface but would love to get these problems solved.

I have had the fascinate since September and love it. One day the speaker phone went out and I called the rep and they did not have a fix, so they sent me a replacement phone. The sound quality on my old phone was fine. A bit tinny at times but OK. But the replacement blows it away. I didn't even send it back for that, it was just an added bonus. So for those of you with sound issues. May want to get a replacement and see if its better?

Of course, since it was time sensitive my droid decided not to make our receive calls. I would dial the number and hear nothing but silence even tho the call had connected. The party on the other end was getting the call but we could not hear each other.only silence. I had to reboot twice at which point I had a number of voice mails from the person i was calling trying to see what was happening. My phone is not rooted and I just have some basic popular apps. Is this just an occasional smart phone glitch or have others had this happen?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOk so I have my first Smartphone, a Samsung Fascinate, and I simply love it. One thing that I REALLY like is the sync of facebook and twitter to my contacts. I like the fact that it syncs their photos and status and such, especially since I'm a facebook/twitter dork. My only problem is that the synced photos both in the contacts page and my "buddies now" widget are EXTREMELY low quality. Is there any way to get the higher quality photos to show up in those programs? Its not a deal breaker, although it does look a little nasty when the rest of the phone is so sharp.

However if I call my voicemail, volume and quality are fine. Obviously something is getting lost when your voice mail is getting routed through a data connection.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI thought my Palm Pre had excellent sound quality. But the Epic sound is phenomenal. I talk with my girlfriend every night and last night I heard tons of background noise from her 10 year old cordless phone.
I never heard any of it before. I actually thought I might have a defective Epic,but today I made other calls and the Epic is outstanding. Actually every aspect of the phone is outstanding.
Sort of two things which might be related. I've been having call quality issues with this phone since I got it. I thought it sounded very electronic and could hardly stay on the phone. Took it to a Sprint store and they did a soft reset and said they couldn't duplicate the issue. I made some calls, some said it sounded better. As long as I have the volume turned down it seems to be okay. But then it's hard to hear what they are saying. If I turn up the volume it sounds like someone is yelling too loudly too close to a microphone. Like bad speakers rattling or something (especially with "s" sounds).
On my headset which was $100 and worked so well on my old phone (people couldn't even tell I was on a headset) the person on the other side either says it's "okay" or says they can definitely tell I'm distant, to one friend saying it was "awful." When listening to Visual Voice Mail it's awful sound, regardless of the volume. Want to try to get a new phone, but then worried I'll have one of the other issues everyone else is having (WiFi or GPS or whatever).
Just wondering because i still have 3 weeks to exchange for another phone. Call quality is great in quiet surroundings but with background noise not so good. Will this froyo update fix this minor but very annoying issue??
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an upgrade available atm and I can't decide if I should wait or not. I currently have a Droid 1 rooted/OC'd. My options are either the Fascinate or wait till Jan-Feb. I have zero interest in the X, and can't see "upgrading" to the D2 or the Incredible.
It is probably meaningless to ask the Fascinate community because, like the D1 community, you're probably all biased..but how are you liking your Fascinates? Would you upgrade to it today if you had the choice? What's the highest achievable clock speed to date (stable)? How is audio quality, I've heard of speaker crackling when at max volume?
Anyone know how to disable the charging completed sound? My wifes Fascinate uses the default notification sound once its done charging.. usually around 1-2am.. I suppose I can set the default sound to "none", but then I'd have to set all the other apps (vm, sms, etc).

As much as I'm addicted to the phone, I was a bit disappointed the sound quality wasn't great- comes out a bit 'tinny'. I got myself some Sennheiser CX 500 earphones and it seems now the sound it much much better.
I just wondered what other people's experiences were with the music/sound quality on the Hero...
Also, if it's not too much to ask further, what music player do you use? I've got Rockon and the default player and kinda like them both but neither are perfect...
The sound quality on my Incredible is bad, especially compared to by Blackberry. Has anybody else had this issue? Verizon thinks it may be a bad handset and they're going to replace it, but I'm wondering if I should switch back to the Blackberry.
View 18 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded a picture attachment from my Gmail that is an 'unwanted picture' which I opened when I went to Gallery/Download folder.It is currently the default preview picture now for the Download folder. I've already deleted this picture from the Download folder, but anytime I download a new picture attachment, it still uses the 'unwanted' pic as the folder preview.I've even tried manually deleting the Download folder using AstroFile Manager.Everything I've tried doesn't seem to work.I desperately need help because currently I'm not able to download any picture from my Gmail account without that stupid picture showing up as the preview for the Download folder.
