I'm wondering if there's a way to create playlists on my PC (or my already created iTunes playlists) and transfer it easily to my Epic phone. I can't imagine having to re-create all of my playlists again? I've got something like 1300 songs and 20+ playlists.

I've been getting pretty good battery life (about 14-16 hours on average) when I use the airplane mode trick and kill the Media Hub service. However, my phone has not been able to sleep since the past 2 days and the battery is draining quickly.
The up time indicates that the phone cannot go to sleep. I'm just surprised because I haven't changed any of my phone settings so I don't know why this is happening. I uninstalled the last app that I downloaded and that didn't help.
Should I try doing a hard reset? Are there any apps that will specifically tell me what is keeping the phone awake?
A quick couple of questions about facebook on th Epic. First, how come all the pictures I upload to facebook are sideways? No matter what I do they upload sideways? Its slightly annoying. Second, is there a way to upload more than one at a time?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have successfully been able to D-Load anything I do to my G-mail calander online to my phone. 1) I would like to upload all of my contacts to G-mail as a back-up but am unable to do so, can anyone help with this issue? 2) Also when I purchased my phone the coppied my contact list which appeared in the unassigned area, which I moved all of the to friends, is this possibly an issue as I should have left them unasigned or are they all good as friends?

I'm in the gallery, and I can make it split out the pictures by date; fun...so I click that grouping of pictures and want to upload it to facebook...share only allows to bluetooth, picasa, email, gmail or messaging...no facebook...And if I try to go through facebook app to do it, I can only upload one photo at a time. there has to be a way to upload more than one photo at a time...

I was reading about them today and I saw that at the end of September there was an update for software d07 and if you had d17 or d27 you can't update. If I get my phone tomorrow what do they come with out of the box? I want to be able to update to d18 to get the upload cap off. So should I ask to loom at the phone before they activate it to make sure it is d07 to get the update? Also how are there diff. Software out for them? Why do some have d27 and some have d07.

how do you sync your playlists to your Vibrant and still use the stock music player? I doesn't seem to read any standard playlist file.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have searched high and low with no answer to this. I like the stock music player on the Galaxy S and want to use it but my playlists do not show up in the playlist tab. I do not want to re-create my playlists on the phone. I have used mixzing which is great and shows my playlists imported using salling media sync or ones added to the /playlist directory but I am happy with the stock player, but I can not find where or how it reads playlists or if it is some special format? I guess there is a way around it by viewing the recently added playlist and just create a playlist from there, but any help with this would be great.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm loving my fascinate so far except for one really annoying feature (other than bing, of course). Whenever my screen goes off, the phone locks itself, and I'm forced to use the puzzle piece or the unlocked grid. This happens every time the screen auto shuts off, or when I shut it off manually with the power button. Is there a way for a non-root user to delay the autolocking to something like 30 minutes or so? As far as i can tell, there is no setting for it, only the screen timeout setting. Its annoying to keep having to unlock the phone, especially if I am driving. Anyone have any ideas?
View 13 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else finding that their keyboard lags when typing moderately quickly? I am using the Android keyboard and for the life of me I can not type "might" without it hiccuping and only getting "miht", "miht", "miht".
I've turned off the suggestion bar, auto-completion, and system sound...but still the keyboard is awful. It has been the same way with both of the Captivates that I've had.
I'm having trouble transferring songs AND playlists from iTunes to my Samsung Captivate. I've tried a lot of things and every one of them just transfers over the songs from the playlist and not the actual playlist. I really like the Music Player Samsung has and I want to use that one, but nothing seems to transfer playlists to it. I've tried doubletwist (only transfers the music, not the playlists), iTunes agent, (same) dazzboard (doesn't work at all), and songbird (so buggy and slow, impossible to use... gave up) There has to be some way to get that player to work with iTunes or to import everything from iTunes and use it with the Samsung Music Player.

I made 3 playlists using doubleTwist and put them on my phone and when I rebooted my phone yesterday my phone had created several other playlists on it's own each with no more than 3 or 4 songs in it. - Playlists created elsewhere are listed but don't have any songs in them
- Playlists can be saved but when reopened they are blank (no songs)
- Playlists are occasionally listed 2, 3 even 4 times
Are these Android 1.5 bugs, or related to Samsung's implementation, or is it just me?
I'm pretty sure my home screen would do landscape with keyboard closed the first couple of days I had the phone and now it wont do it unless the keyboard is out. Anyone else have the same issue?

A phone that I actually have been waiting for ever since the IPhone came out because I knew the technology would be where I wanted it to be for the most part (speed, HD, capacity, upgrade ability/customization. I'm more getting more camera time in than making Epic 4G porn, but it is fun!

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing.
