When I add appointments to the calendar on my phone, I have to switch from the "my calendar" to my google account calendar, or it will not sync with my google account. Is there a way to remove "my calendar" or at least make my google account calendar the default one? Why is this redundant "my calendar" even in the picture? It is a useless pos.

View 16 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a new EPIC upgraded in the past week or so from a Samsung Moment.It appears that the stock EPIC calendar app has only ONE alarm/reminder.I have an EVO and use Jorte but the stock calendar app on my EVO and Jorte allow MULTIPLE reminders for a single calendar event (e.g., a 10 minute alarm, a 3 hour alarm and a 1 day alarm).Apart from her installing and using Jorte, does the EPIC stock calendar app have ONLY ONE alarm for a calendar event?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my facebook synced with my calendar, now I came from Web OS and if you would confirm to an event, it would show up in your calender, if you would put maybe/not attending, it wouldn't for those pesky 2 month events that people love to make. Now my problem is that I have it synced, and double checked and I am declined for the events and even have the "hide declined events" checked but yet they are still being displayed.

For those of us who use the Epic in a dock as a bedside alarm clock at night, this message is a major PITA. I know it can be suppressed with the screen off, but I need to suppress it with the screen ON. When I roll over at 3AM, I need to know what time it is, not that my battery is fully charged!!

He wants to sync his contacts and calendar.On my Droid, I go to accounts & sync > add account > Google > enter my address and password.i get offered to sync Calendar and/or Contacts, by clicking on the check box.On his Epic, he adds the account, but there are no options, no check boxes! Is this different somehow? It works fine with his gmail, but not his generic Google account. On my Droid it all works fine and everything is in sync.

I'm pretty sure my home screen would do landscape with keyboard closed the first couple of days I had the phone and now it wont do it unless the keyboard is out. Anyone else have the same issue?

A phone that I actually have been waiting for ever since the IPhone came out because I knew the technology would be where I wanted it to be for the most part (speed, HD, capacity, upgrade ability/customization. I'm more getting more camera time in than making Epic 4G porn, but it is fun!

Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?

Quite frankly my biggest worry about the Epic at this point is the lack of support in the future, but it def has some features I do like.. (Mainly the GPU / Processing)
