Just like the tittle says is it possible to select multiple emails within the gmail app and do a mass delete of them?
Note I said gmail app not gmail webbrowser. Or is there a better gmail app with push email vs imap or pop?

Hey does anyone know a way of mass deleting contacts? (Other than factory reset of course...) I can't seem to find a "delete all contacts" button.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have sprint, my phone is an Epic and i love it! however when sending even a simple text i select "new message" the "to" box comes up. i have to start typing in a name to get contacts with similar names to start coming up, which i then select. then i have to repeat for the next contact...i have had cheaper phones that have allowed me to select recipients from my contact list. i have a friend who has Verizon, but has the same andrion platform (i think its a fascinate) and when she clicks on the "to" box, she gets a drop down menu that includes the word "contacts", as well as "recent calls". she clicks on that and goes right down the list selecting recipients...this is standard on her phone, as she did not dwld an app to allow this...MY epic wont do this...can i change a setting or something.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've written an APP the uses has a small SQL lite DB and using a cursor adapter I can retrieve the records and populate a list view with them. from there I can get the Id of a selected item and delete it from the DB which works great. the issue I have is that as the DB grows deleting one row at a time would be slow and frustrating so I wanted to know if there was any way to allow multiple selections possibly with check boxes or by even changing the text color of the items selected so that I can retreiving their relative ID's.
I have read some posts that talk about custom cursor adapters but I am not sure how to adapt them to my code.

I have the latest Play-Store installed on my phone (which is a Sony Ericsson XPERIA x10) and although I have read in a bunch of forums that in the latest version you can go to "ALL" applications' section and delete the history of your downloaded applications by multi-selecting the desired apps (long press), it doesn't seem to be happening on mine.

I tried es explore and X-PLORER file manager but no luck.
The build in file manager in tablet also starts deleting and after an hour still shows the deleting icon.
A friend of mine was asking my why the new version of K-9 Mail doesn't have multi-select anymore. I was confused as mine does. So, with some investigating we found that K-9 Mail Beta is no long a beta version. It's just "K-9 Mail", version 2.000. And it isn't as robust as the beat version. What's up with that?
Better backup your old beta version if you like it. And don't update to the new until they get that mess straightened out.
I'm displaying the contacts in a Multi-select "Ok, Cancel" dialog box. I've implemented Filterable for the adapter that displays the contacts in the dialog. The problem is, once i try and select(check) a contact while i'm using a type ahead, the check box in that particular position is checked and not the contact.
The initial screen goes like

When I hit backspace, the screen appears as,

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm delving into customizing my EVO and thoroughly enjoying it. I have so many options I just don't know what to do with myself! I do, however, need some help. I made the mistake of linking my Facebook to my contacts when I first got my EVO, so my address book was a complete melting pot of mess (Facebook friends, imported contacts from my Blackberry, and others) and it absolutely drove me up the wall. I figured out how to unsync my Facebook, and I did.I now have two problems. I imported all of my contacts from my Blackberry to my EVO and two things happened. Most of the numbers didn't come with them, and all of the pictures from my old berry did. Elsewise, this phone is still finding Facebook contacts and linking them with imported contacts. I'm going bananas.I need to find a way to mass delete the low res contact pictures from my contacts, find a way to I guess "link" or find the numbers for all of these contacts, and a way to make this beautiful phone stop putting Facebook icons and low res pics on the people in my address book.

On the browser I pressed Menu, More, and deleted all browsing history, data, cache etc. So when I checked in history there wasn't any websites listed. BUT when in the browser you click on the back button, you still can get to the previously seen sites. So how can you totally delete your browsing history?

How can I or is there a setting that turns off this auto open of the next email after I delete an email? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have successfully been able to D-Load anything I do to my G-mail calander online to my phone. 1) I would like to upload all of my contacts to G-mail as a back-up but am unable to do so, can anyone help with this issue? 2) Also when I purchased my phone the coppied my contact list which appeared in the unassigned area, which I moved all of the to friends, is this possibly an issue as I should have left them unasigned or are they all good as friends?
