General :: HTC Incredible - Single Notification Delete For Drop Down Menu?
Mar 28, 2012Any app to single delete notifications from the drop down menu. I'm running Verizon HTC incredible, cyanogenmod 7.2 RC1. Since cyanogenmod 7.1, we have been able to swipe notifications left and right to delete them, but it doesnt really work very well.
I then went to a friends house who had an at @ t Motorola Atrix, with I think droid 2.3.4 on it. My friends drop down menu had a minus button on the right of the notification to delete it. That is exactly what I'm looking for. Any app or some way to set this in my (Rooted) phone?

Jul 21, 2010Anyone seeing an issue where they charge to 100% percent overnight, pull the phone off the charger and see a very quick drop to 90%?I know the HTC Evo had this problem, and it seems like my phone is doing as well.I charge it all night, pull it off the charger and surf for like 10 minutes and the battery level plummets to 90%.Its interesting to note that if you charge the phone to 100%, turn it off and charge it, the battery indicator will display 90% and take about 10 mins to get to 100%.you then turn it on and charge it, the battery will be at 90% and will take another 10 minutes of charging to reach 100%.This is basically the HTC charging trick. After doing the charge while on/charge while off cycle several time, the battery will truly be at 100%. The problem is, I dont really want to do this every time I charge my phone.

Samsung Captivate :: Captivate Running Slower Than Before
Nov 30, 2010so i have been wanting to switch a android phone for a while and a bud hooked me up with a captivate, i used it for about a month or two and switched back to my iphone because the android just ran slow as molassas which it should do on the captivate which has some beefy specs as i understand. so i switched back recently the 2.2 release (froyo)popped up on the net and everyone harped about how its 8 million times faster, so i upgrade to the 2.2 release following some instructions on gizmodo or some site similiar, now the phone runs even slower perhaps if i was to strip the at&t 2.2 and put back on just stock standard android 2.2 it would improve? am i not flipping a switch? i am dying to try out a android phone that supposedly can beat my iphone, please any advice, suggestions, smacks upside the head.

However, since there are (sorted) tens of items, I want the user to be able to use the fast-scroll thumb (like fastScrollEnabled attribute on ListView), similar to the one enabled in Contacts application.I tried to get the ListView that is used in that pop-up dialog, but I didn't find any methods to do that.

Nov 29, 2009Got a HTC Droid Eris the other day and absolutely love it.However, when adding a new contact on the phone, the drop bown menu box only lists "Phone" and does NOT give a "Google" or "Exchange" option as is indicated on p. 72 of the pdf "User Guide for Droid HTC Eris" by Verizon. I have examined 3 others Droid Eris phones of friends/family, and on each of their phones when adding a new contact the drop down menu box does list the "Google" option in addition to the "Phone" option.The problem with not being able to select "Google" as the contact type is that the contact information does not "sync" with the Gmail "Contacts List" online.

Aug 22, 2010I have noticed some glitches with calls dropping and I don't think these instances are connected: 1) Sometimes I cannot dial numbers that are stored in the phone or using the favs widget and that includes returning a call so the number is already listed. If I hit the number it dials for about a second then says call disconnected. BUT if I manually dial the same number after it drops it will dial out fine. I haven't noticed any rhyme or reason for it doing this. It just seems to happen randomly. Maybe it is linked to low signal? It just seems odd that I can always dial the number after if I type it in. 2) When using GPS naviation (Maps) if I get an incoming call - no problem but if I dial out, after a few seconds on the phone the phone will reboot itself.

Jul 1, 2010When I try and send a new message, or forward a message some of my contacts don't show up on the drop down list. I'll type the first few characters of their name and it will bring up a list of the names in my contacts directory but some names are missing so I cannot send a text in the normal manner (I know I can find the contact through the dialler and send a message that way but that doesn't help if I try and forward a message). I've looked to see if there are any strange spaces in the names etc but I cannot fathom out why some of my contacts are missing from the drop down lict in messages. Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

Aug 18, 2010When I open contacts app, i see four options at the top : contacts, groups, history and activities. I have successfully linked my facebook contacts and calendar through SNS setting option (automatically syncs every 1 hour). When i click on the activities menu at the top, I could see all facebook updates in there. Works like a charm. Just one question. Select a particular contact (who also has a facebook account) from the contacts list. You will see four options again: Info, History, Acitivities and Media. When i click on Info i see all the contact information like phone number, email address, Linked contacts, and facebook link under web address. When i click on History, I see all the calls made and received to and from this contact. When i click Acitivities, I just see Link Contact Option and don't see anything else eventhough i have linked my facebook through SNS setting. Also, the media is empty and how do i add one?

Aug 30, 2010Just got my captivate and have one problem. Sometimes when touching the haptic menu button (first from left), i get a double vibration. Like it senses my first touch but vibrates second time right away. I do not get this constantly. But it happens all the time when i first touch the home button then the menu button. Does not happen with any other button.
