I picked up a gadget guard (full body) for 13.97 from eBay user jusage. You can also order it from iPhone, iPod, Cell Phone, Cases, Screen Protectors, Shields, Covers by Invisible Gadget Guard.
So I received this, steamed up a room for 10 minutes and then made a little bit of a solution (water and a drop or 2 of dish soap) I then began the process to apply it. Trust me, this isn't easy to apply. The video makes it seem easy but it is actually pretty hard. Now as of now the screen has some soap/water bubbles that are under, but it was pretty easy to squeegee out the big air bubbles. I finished that, but then it slid off again so I had to reapply. After this, I went to the battery cover and I put it on. The back was really easy to apply, I just put it on right onto place and it fit perfectly. The bottom of the back was fairly simple to put on because it runs a little bit small. Now the camera one comes attached to the sides and I tried to put it on. It was WAY to big. The hole for the camera was pretty big, but the sides went way over and just didn't fit at all. Then I tried to put the front cover (over the 3.5 and the bottom) and it just didn't fit at all. The actual product itself is okay ( I honestly hope that the bubbles go away) and it isn't to resistant. It is just about the same feel of the invisible shield.
Overall- I would recommend several other products over this. Personally, I would choose the invisible shield over this. It is much easier to put, and just a better product (the invisible shield is what I mean). I would also suggest the screen protector's from AT&T because I have put them on my past devices. So would I buy this case again? Probably not...

I ordered a ZAGG full body max protector to replace my Body Glove case. I didn't know if anyone had any experience with covering the whole body with this thing? I went with the max vs the easy version because I'd think the corners are going prolly mostly likely to get hit if it's dropped and the easy version doesn't protect sides/corners. Obviously this provides no shock protection if it's dropped but it's a nice compromise between showing off it's sexiness and protection.

For example, its common that someone wants to tinker with my phone because they have never seen it. I don't want the messing around in my messaging center, gmail, etc. But the general phone lock is not enough. I want to specify certain apps and functions that will require password or gesture. I found "ES Security manager - application protector" in the market. It worked okay for a day, now its buggy. When I go to a locked app and put in my password. Now it goes to the protector settings instead of the application. Also, it can easily be killed from a task manager app. I need a good solid app that will do this for me.

I've used Steinheil before, so I know I like that kind.
Is the Ghost Armor closer to the rubbery feel of the Inivisishield or the hard plastic feel of the Steinheil?

I've heard that the T-Mo one doesn't cover the buttons at the bottom too, so I'd prefer not to get that one.
How's it going fellow Vibrant owners? I'm new here, been lurking for awhile and decided to register to ask some questions and help out others. My question; is this usb cable the same as the one provided with the vibrant? Can anyone suggest a screen protector for the Samsung Moment? I am coming over from an Iphone and used a Power Support Anti-Glare screen protector. They are the best I have ever used. I am just assuming they will not make one for the Moment. I am considering trying to trim one down to fit the Moment, but not sure how it will work. I would prefer something similar, uses static to hold it on, not an adhesive. You can remove it and reuse them.

Somehow I managed to scratch the screen protector and now I want to remove it however I'm having much difficulty removing it. Now I'm thinking if I should get a replacement screen protector as the Rogers version doesn't come with a spare one or just go without it. View 17 Replies View RelatedSo I recently got a set of screen protectors and put one on.All was well just noticed a few bubbles and so I tried to work them out.They weren't going away, so I figured I would try again so I removed it and to my astonishment the bubbles were still there. It's like they formed under the screen somehow when I put the protector on, they were absolutely not there before.There are 2 in the center of the screen and a few along the edges. At first I just thought it was a water spot but I cannot wipe them off.The ones on the edge of the screen I can"push out" to the edge to almost make them disappear.When you touch them with the pads of your fingers you can feel a slight "bump" in the screen (very minute but still there).They bubbles are easily visible when the screen is off and almost go away when the screen is on but you can still tell they are there.Is this a defect in the phone or did I cause this trying to install the protector? I didn't push down hard on the screen, just applied the protector and they appeared.

I'm currently using the phantom skinz line and although I like the body protectors I think the screen protector has reduced some of the screen's clarity/sharpness. This wasn't an issue with the static protectors I got from verizon. The only reason I replaced the verizon ones is because they didn't cover the buttons along the bottom of the screen. Anyone find a static protector they like that covers the whole screen?

Is something wrong with just the app or phone? Has anyone experienced this?
Decided to call and register a couple of my phone's common issues with Samsung. The tech support person was actually very knowledgeable and helpful. She and her husband both have Moments so she said she had a particular interest in getting some of the issues resolved. She didn't try any fixes but said with the recent influx of calls concerning Battery Meter/Life issues, a fix could be coming out before a software update.
She did say she knew for sure 2.0 or probably 2.1 was coming and she didn't know when. She said "trust me, I am as interested in this upgrade as you and check whenever I can" All she could confirm was that the upgrade is in the works, prolly be 2.1, and they feel many of the issues we have today will improve with the Android upgrade.
I cannot get the recovery screen to come on for the life of me. I hold the volume buttons and the power button and once the AT&T screen pops up, I release the power button. It sits there for a second and the screen goes black. I have tried releasing the power buttons then and I have tried holding them as well.
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo today in glass design I was checking messages when a small ( when i say small i mean you almost can't even see it) piece of glass landed on my captivate. My captivate has the body glove, screen protector and screen protector.When this little piece of glass got on the screen I tried to just rub it off but it cut through the screen protector and put a deep scratch on the actual captivate screen.The screen protector I was using was gadget guard so I definitely don't recommend using that if you plan on it because of how weak it is. I'm also disappointed with the captivates screen. If a small piece of glass barely rubbing on it can leave a deep scratch, I can't imagine what keys could do.You can't really see the scratch, but I'm just super ocd about it and can feel it on my finger every time it's in that area.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a confession to make.One of the first things I did when I got my Captivate was tried to De-TouchWiz it.I immediately got a new launcher and used lockbot to change the lockscreen.Well, what I'm finding out is that there are some things about TouchWiz that I really like.For example I love being able to change wifi settings etc. on the drop down notification drawer.I also love being able to change the brightness by swiping the notification bar.The one thing that I decided to come back to as a UI element is the Lock Screen.I didn't even give it a shot when I first bought the phone and today I've been using it and I love it.The puzzle message system is just a great tweak and I love how you can just move the puzzle piece into the puzzle hole to go straight to that application instead of swiping the whole screen to unlock and go to the home page.I also really like that you can kind of swipe any which way to unlock the screen, as well as the fact that it's transparent to your wallpaper/live wallpaper.All around, bravo to Samsung on the lock screen.I hope others are enjoying it as much as I am.

Purchased phone a while back.I assumed a screen protector would already be on the screen but upon close inspection, i cant tell whether there is a protector on the screen or not.

It still looks good...no scratches, not falling apart etc. But I was wondering if it will damage the screen from being on so long and should I replace it with a new one. I never had occasion to use a protector before so forgive me if the question sounds like a stupid one.
