Samsung Moment :: Screen Protector Needed?
Apr 9, 2010Just wondering if a screen protector is needed? Anyone go commando with their Moment? I've had a screen protector on mine since I got it, however I have oily skin and I've found the oils just gather on the protector and discolor/distort the image.

Is the Ghost Armor closer to the rubbery feel of the Inivisishield or the hard plastic feel of the Steinheil?

Samsung Captivate :: Screen Protector Review
Jul 21, 2010I picked up a gadget guard (full body) for 13.97 from eBay user jusage. You can also order it from iPhone, iPod, Cell Phone, Cases, Screen Protectors, Shields, Covers by Invisible Gadget Guard.
So I received this, steamed up a room for 10 minutes and then made a little bit of a solution (water and a drop or 2 of dish soap) I then began the process to apply it. Trust me, this isn't easy to apply. The video makes it seem easy but it is actually pretty hard. Now as of now the screen has some soap/water bubbles that are under, but it was pretty easy to squeegee out the big air bubbles. I finished that, but then it slid off again so I had to reapply. After this, I went to the battery cover and I put it on. The back was really easy to apply, I just put it on right onto place and it fit perfectly. The bottom of the back was fairly simple to put on because it runs a little bit small. Now the camera one comes attached to the sides and I tried to put it on. It was WAY to big. The hole for the camera was pretty big, but the sides went way over and just didn't fit at all. Then I tried to put the front cover (over the 3.5 and the bottom) and it just didn't fit at all. The actual product itself is okay ( I honestly hope that the bubbles go away) and it isn't to resistant. It is just about the same feel of the invisible shield.
Overall- I would recommend several other products over this. Personally, I would choose the invisible shield over this. It is much easier to put, and just a better product (the invisible shield is what I mean). I would also suggest the screen protector's from AT&T because I have put them on my past devices. So would I buy this case again? Probably not...

Oct 21, 2010Sometimes when I shut the slider quickly the phone shuts down. Then today it did it when I set it down on a table, and when I turned it back on the battery went from 42 to 12 percent. Oct 21, 2010So I recently got a set of screen protectors and put one on.All was well just noticed a few bubbles and so I tried to work them out.They weren't going away, so I figured I would try again so I removed it and to my astonishment the bubbles were still there. It's like they formed under the screen somehow when I put the protector on, they were absolutely not there before.There are 2 in the center of the screen and a few along the edges. At first I just thought it was a water spot but I cannot wipe them off.The ones on the edge of the screen I can"push out" to the edge to almost make them disappear.When you touch them with the pads of your fingers you can feel a slight "bump" in the screen (very minute but still there).They bubbles are easily visible when the screen is off and almost go away when the screen is on but you can still tell they are there.Is this a defect in the phone or did I cause this trying to install the protector? I didn't push down hard on the screen, just applied the protector and they appeared.

Motorola Droid : Static Screen Protector Like That Covers Whole Screen?
Nov 24, 2009I'm currently using the phantom skinz line and although I like the body protectors I think the screen protector has reduced some of the screen's clarity/sharpness. This wasn't an issue with the static protectors I got from verizon. The only reason I replaced the verizon ones is because they didn't cover the buttons along the bottom of the screen. Anyone find a static protector they like that covers the whole screen?

Sep 6, 2010Ok time for the next issue with this phone. Has anyone noticed a general lag between touch screen presses and actions/sounds?
The best examples are:
1) I type fast, and keep the click sound when I type. I can literally hear about a 1/4 second to 1/2 second lag between when I press the buttons and when the sound clicks.
2) Download any free piano or drum up and try to keep a steady beat. There's a nasty lag between when you tap the screen and when the sound comes out.
For comparison, the keyboard and piano app on my old iphone (3G no less), work perfectly. And my iPad is wonderfully smooth.
Is this a software issue, or a problem with my phone?
Musical Lite is a good sample program for free if anyone wants to try this out.

Sep 15, 2010I was at school listening to music on pandora and it died, went home plugged it in (charger) and now when i try to enter my password it doesnt respond AT ALL! no even the emergency call.. this is pissing me off to NO END as I got it 3 days ago... I tried taking th battery out and that didnt work, i called it with my home phone and she screen changed to the answer/ignor/ignore w/ text screen but the contact didnt move when i slid it over.

My Moment does that and it's annoying as I end up pocket dialing people or opening up programs because the keyboard slide on it gets jarred and unlocks the screen.This will be a deal breaker for me between the Epic 4G and EVO.
