I'm using Easy Tether right now to post this, yet it will not connect to Facebook, or Gmail and Google Voice, PicasaWeb, or other Google products, aside from Gqueues.If I connect this laptop through any wireless connection (my home network or multiple public wifi hotspots) it has no problems seeing those sites.Ideas?

I am unable to connect to my PC with the USB cable!! Last night I was loading some stuff on my phone and the USB was acting up and now today when I plug it in it acts like I am plugging in to power. I installed usb switcher from the market and it tells me that I need to hook up to usb first. I reset the phone and it did not help, I have tried to to change the settings from mas storage to pc studio and turned on debugging.
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday I decided to install the tweaked V3 W/Take 5. Started to update rom and couldn't get phone to connect. It would say debugging was working but nothing in ADB > Devices. Long story short A few hours of fiddling Took out SD card and it started working. Formatted the card Flashed rom. Worked a few times and now nothing. Every now and then when i reboot the phone it will work. It only works for 20 minutes or so and then stops. I get the USB Connected Prompt and when I press it (waiting for the Mount window) It goes back to nothing.ectly.

I have downloaded easy tether on my phone and my computer and I can't seem to get it to work. i have also downloaded the samsung drivers. It keeps saying that it is not connected.

I know it has something to do with samsung PC studio but she is currently out of town and I'm trying to help her over the phone. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have 4 phones for my company. 2 HTC Heroes and 2 Samsung Moments.I setup both phones on my 2 pc's and laptops.Both phones worked great.Now only the Heroes are working with Easy Tether.I have loaded and reloaded the Samsung drivers. This problem occurred in the last few days.Sometimes the Samsung are recognized as "Legacy USB's".The Moments are supposed to be backup phones.I have not upgraded to the Full Easy Tether until I can get the problems 100% resolved.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have 2 galaxy S phones from T-Mobile, and have Easy Tether installed on both.My wife's Dell Inspriron laptop uses Windows XP, and she has no problems on the tethering.internet access is great.My Dell XPS laptop has Windows 7, and when I open Easy Tether my display goes all funky and loses definition.colors get screwed up, and everything gets very tough to read etc.If I use my phone with my wife's lap top.no problem, so I assume that my laptop has something that's fighting with Easy tether.Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this?I need help!

I've tried to connect my BH2 to two different Vista PCs, the USB icon on the upper left corner of the BH2 shows up, but I am not given any mounting notifications that I presume are suppose to pop up on the phone? The PCs don't recognize the device anywhere and I've formatted the SD card before. Am I missing a step (or driver) here?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI use Windows Xp and the stock USB cable that came with the Behold 2. When I plug it in, nothing happens on the phone or the PC. Samsung says:
From any home screen, tap Quick List > Settings
Scroll down to and tap Phone Settings > USB Settings > Mass Storage > Save
Connect the data cable to the Behold II and a PC or laptop
When the Notification Bar indicates "USB Connected" tap, hold, and pull down
Tap USB Connected > Mount
On your PC, if prompted, allow USB drivers to be installed.
I never get the notification in the bar and windows does not see the device. I've also tried the Samsun Studio setting - no luck.
Phone is set to Mass Storage default.
16GB SD card installed.
I've tried it on two different computers both running XP; same story.
USB debugging is on.
I've installed the drivers in this forum and still nothing.
Sounds like a problem with the phone connection or the cable. Thoughts?
So currently I am addicted to COD MW2.I am using the ethernet cable and my connection is from router to the system. I am wanting to cancel my ISP.so my question is how do I set it up using my evo and a usb connection.i can root just no real desire to do so and I am not against paying for the app if it will work for me. do I just plug in my evo via usb and work with the internet settings on the system...has any one done this with real success?

I am unhappy with this phone especially with the MyTouch Slide on the market but when I found there was an update I missed I held in there. To make a long story short for some reason my Samsung Behold 2 does not have TouchWiz which is what the rep said I need to recv my 1.6 update. I only see Tw Launcher. They were willing to do a handset exchange however I have a small crack on the black edge of the front lcd but it does not effect the lcd at all or the use of any portion of the phone. She said bc of the crack most likely I will be charged $100 or i can use my insurance and pay $130. WTF?! Are u serious. Bc i recvd a phone that didn't include TouchWiz and u won't be able to refurb it I have to pay $100. Someone help me before I lose my religion on these TMobile scam artist.

View 3 Replies View RelatedExcuse my lack of knowledge, but... why is it that we are unable to root the B2 to 2.1+ ourselves? We did it with 1.6 way before Samsung announced anything. I thought Google publicly release the source codes to each Android OS. Can't we take the source and modify it to be usable on the B2? Coudn't we possibly take 2.1+ from another (possibly Samsung) phone and transfer the data over? We know Samsung's claim that the B2 could not handle 2.1+ is pure BS.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the HTC Droid Eris. Before the 2.1 update, I just had Facebook sync, but afterwards, it was synced with Facebook for HTC Sense. My problem is that it won't let me sync with just Facebook.I still want my contacts to sync with my phone, because I like the facebook pictures on there. Personally, I like Facebook sync better, because I don't like having all my Facebook contacts on my phone, because the numbers show up twice (number that I have on my phone plus the number that my friends have on Facebook).To prevent that from happening, I would rather have my phone connected to Facebook only and not Facebook for HTC Sense.I thought I could do it, but it won't let me even click on Facebook--like, nothing pops up or anything.I wasn't sure if it was my phone, so I took my dad's Eris and tried to do the same, it works fine on his phone, but I can't get mine to do sync with facebook whatsoever. View 1 Replies View Relatedi just got my behold 2 & was so frustrated about not being able to delete all my unwanted emails all at once...what a terrible feature not to have. but i found the solution...just go to market & download the "K9" application & it's done. you can select all emails, then delete AND they don't go to a "junk" folder...they are gone for good. maybe everyone knows about K9 already but i just had to share this wonderful information for anyone encountering this!!

A few weeks ago, a friend and I went through the process of making my Behold 2 think it's a Galaxy (thanks to all who made that possible!). Now, after having played with it for a while and the lack of vibration annoying me, I've decided to try to use Odin to revert to the standard Behold 2 ROM.This is where my problem comes in: I am unable to get any USB Driver for the phone to work. In USB Debugging, out of debug, in download, or any other way I can think of. The phone just doesn't seem to want to connect. When not in USB debugging mode, I can get my computer to recognize the SD card and access files, and it'll charge, but, I can't get any other USB functions to work.
I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or if this is an issue with the phone itself.I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.Could someone walk me through troubleshooting this?
