Nexus :: How To Delete Downloaded Video
Jul 22, 2010
I downloaded a short video clip from the Internet. I assumed it would be stored in the "photos" file so I could easily delete it. But now I can not find it. I want to get it out of the phone.
Can someone kindly tell me how I can find it and delete it?
I have Nexus One with 2.2.

I have a few ringtones I dowloaded through a ringtone app that I've since deleted. I no longer use these ringtones, and would like to delete them from the phone. is there anyway to do so? I can't seem to find them in a file mode. I can get to them through choosing a ringtone, but can't delete them, and only 2 of them showed up in the music category. is there anyway to find them in the phone and make them go away??

I have searched the User's Guide but haven't found anything in it unless I missed it but need some help here, so how do you remove apps and games from this phone?

Couldn't find answers in the manual.
Q1: How do I open the clipboard (after copying text on it for example)?
Q2: How do I remove or delete apps that I've downloaded?

I have had my Droid for about two weeks now. While searching for a new home application I accidentally downloaded the Panda home Blue Chrome theme. I have spent a couple of hours trying to delete the theme from my Droid but cannot seem to find where it was downloaded to on my phone. It is not under the application manager. Anyone had any success in deleting a theme from your home.

I purchased a Nexus One a couple of months ago and I am happy to say I feel like I made the right decision. The music player I wasn't to impressed with though so I downloaded Mixzing. I love the app, it works great and is very smooth. But I was wondering how can I get album artwork into this app.

Today I got my first ever smart phone - nexus 4. The phone is great and all, but I hate how everything I do on the phone is connected to my google account. For example, when I enter my photo gallery, there are bunch of albums, blogs data, twitter data, random stuff from my google account which I DO NOT want on my phone. When I tried to delete the albums I accidentally made them to appear offline. Now there is no way to delete the albums. When I select a specific album I only get option to see "details". How do I remove them?
I tried removing my gmail account from my phone and it made things even worse. The contacts I manually typed to my phone are gone as well.

I have a Nexus7 (8gb) with a file headed "WV" and titled with a list of numbers in the "Personal Videos" file that does not appear on my desktop when I connect the Nexus. I now have four films (excluding the stray file) that I want to keep on the Nexus which are all under 1gb each, however my Nexus is now saying that I don't have enough memory to even download basic apps. I think this stray file may be to blame as I've checked the folder sizes using my desktop and I'm well within the 8gb capacity limit. The Nexus will not play the stray WV file; I get an error message saying "file cannot be played".

Kinda surprised nobody has posted this yet. Anyway this guide isn't mine but its pretty good guide to follow for noobs.
First..you will need to unlock the Nexus Ones bootloader (doing this voids the warranty) Guide here:
How To: Root the Nexus One (Updated 01.11.10) | The Unlockr
Disable any kind of adblocker so the how-to video comes up (it loads in the black window at top) For me..I had to disable adblockplus on Firefox.
Then once that is done, you then can save a recovery file to your N1/load your custom rom.
Guide here:
How To: Load a Custom ROM on the Nexus One (Updated 1.11.10) | The Unlockr
You will need your computer to be able to recognize the Nexus One for all this to work..
You can either do it this way (which I believe just installs the USB drivers)
Getting Nexus One ADB/USB Mount working (Driver) - xda-developers
Or you can download the Android SDK
Android SDK | Android Developers
Once installed, I clicked on "download ALL updates" so I would recommend doing that just to be safe.
