I was trying to update my facebook app in the market but it wouldn't update. So I thought it was my custom ROM. I backed up the APK in titanium backup and uninstalled it. I then went back to market, but facebook still won't install. And titanium didn't backup facebook.apk properly. Now I don't have a facebook app.

I am not new to android: i have had the G1 which i did not root, the T-Mobile pulse, which i rooted and the HTC Legend and now the Nexus one.
Some questions?
With the legend i am am awhere of the Sence UI ? i liked how facebook contacts synced to my phone and when i rang i saw there display pictures, does the Nexus one do this?
SMS, is there a similar app to the legend, where you see threaded messages with a picture of there facebook dp?
I can't hear the phone when it rings, its so quiet, the volume is on max, is there anyway to increase this?

I am completely new to Android and just got my phone today (Vibrant). I was syncing my Facebook and Twitter accounts... and seeing the updates on an app that seemed pre-installed on the phone. It displayed both the Twitter and Facebook updates in the same screen and had a little "T" or "F" on the side to identify them. All was well until I accidentally deleted the screen and now don't know what app that was to get it back. I went through them all.

Can modify the facebook home apk so that the lock screen is still facebook home, but so that when swiping up to hit the 'Apps' bobble or hitting the home button, you get taken to the normal launcher. Can it be done?

I really hate the stock messaging app on the bottom of my Galaxy s2. I like using gosms cause i can lock it and keep it private. But the messages are showing up still in the messaging app, ( i thought i enabled only gosms) and of course, when i delete them, they get deleted in gosms too
View 5 Replies View RelatedI had a free version of an app. I upgraded the app and paid through paypal, when I did this, the developer sent me an upgrade password. Now the problem is, when I reset my phone or get a warranty replacement I have to send the developer an email to get a new password, which is kind of a pain. Is there a way around this where I can reinstall the app without going through this every time?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't have LED light or anything like it installed. Running stock 3.29 unrevoked, no other custom kernels/ROMs.Camera half the time doesn't start. If I clear the camera cache/data, it'll sometimes run but all the colors are wacky. Like whites show up as bright pinks and greens. I've tried manipulating the white balance, hue, etc.. with absolutely no change. Same effect with camcorder or a 3rd party camera app like zoomFx.Do I need to reinstall the camera.apk?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI had my Evo rooted with Unrevoked and then it stopped working when I did the OTA update (I believe this happened for everybody). So then I uninstalled Unrevoked and I saw that Superuser Permissions was still there in the apps list, so I uninstalled that too. But now I think I want Superuser Permissions back, but it didn't get installed when I tried to install Unrevoked again. How can I get it back? Also, am I correct that it was bundled along with Unrevoked when I installed it the first time, or is it park of the Android OS?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my desire last week. When I did the initial wizard setup, I put in my Facebook id and my Flickr one as well. I remember on that first day, I was quite pleased with the Flickr app and my photos. Now, it seems to be completely gone. If I look in All Programs, it's not there. If I go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications, I can see Flickr (HTC Corporation) there in the list. If I choose it, I get the usual screen with the Clear Cache and About buttons.

I even unsuccessfully tried launching app by website or link. I went to Settings>App>YouTube. I cleared the cache and file storage but it did not make the difference.
