Puffin: support choosing objects but it's so laggy

is there a way to have flash on any browser capable of running on nexus 4?? I'm trying to upload photos to Facebook through the Firefox browser without using FB app.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using the stock browser and it's been playing flash content fine. I just installed Dolphin HD browser but for some reason it's not loading any flash content on any site. Anyone have any ideas why not? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and rebooting as well. I'm out of ideas. The stock browser still works though. I'm on FRF91, non-rooted.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have Froyo and I installed the flash beta, and flash sites work but my browser will close itself within about 30 seconds. I uninstalled flash and I had no more problems, and then I tried installing it again and the problems came back.
Has anyone else had this problem? and if so, are there any solutions to this besides uninstalling flash?
Basically by "any browser" I mean all the big name browsers, including Firefox and Dolphin. On my old ROM they worked. Now the same (latest) versions don't. I'm on 4.2.2 (old ROM and new ROM) and I don't seem to have any Flash binaries installed, but I thought it was built into browsers now since Flash for Android is discontinued.

I create some webpages which I want to make sure that it works in HTML5 browsers. The way I go about the testing is, I first create the webpages in my laptop, copy the folder to my Nexus 7, and open the index.html in the browser.
Now, I heard that Google Chrome is a HTML5 browser. But I am unable to open my html file in that when I open it from File Manager. I tried Dolphin Browser, but it crashes the moment it opens.
So, is there any other HTML5-only browser I can use for this purpose?

BTW, I had no problems flashing pa to my Nexus 4&10 and loving that rom.

I know that Flash air is only available to android 2.2 and future releases, but should I still make the game using Flash? Using Java would imo be so much more difficult and time consuming, but I suppose all android versions would be able to run it. Also, how efficient can android 2.2 run Flash Air? Can a game made in Flash Air run almost as fast as the game made with Java?
View 3 Replies View Relatedset the default Facebook layout in UC Browser as the old layout. Here I'm referring the old layout (wap) to the one as seen on Opera Mini.
When I open uc browser and log in through the "alternative login" i get the old wap layout. But once I close and open uc browser again and click on Facebook, it directly shows me the latest Facebook Mobile layout. Can't I set the default view for Facebook as the old (wap) layout?
P.S - I only wish to use UC and not opera anymore...
So I just bought a HTC Nexus Ones as my new Android phone. I've been preparing for this new phone, such as knowing that it's old, I'm going to flash a custom JellyBean ROM to it, ect. Anyways, I've been reading that you cannot install applications to the SD card of a Nexus One, only to the very small 512mb internal memory. I'm wondering what I need to do to be able to install all the apps and games I download and install to the SD card, so I do not run out of space.

I am not new to android: i have had the G1 which i did not root, the T-Mobile pulse, which i rooted and the HTC Legend and now the Nexus one.

With the legend i am am awhere of the Sence UI ? i liked how facebook contacts synced to my phone and when i rang i saw there display pictures, does the Nexus one do this?
SMS, is there a similar app to the legend, where you see threaded messages with a picture of there facebook dp?
I can't hear the phone when it rings, its so quiet, the volume is on max, is there anyway to increase this?

Last week, I flashed my LG Nexus 4 (16GB) phone with stock Android 4.4 (Official Image), before that I was on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 Stable.
Now, for some reason I didn't like the stock 4.4 and tried to Flash back my CyanogenMod 10.1.3 from CWM "Install ZIP" but the problem I'm facing is that it CyanogenMod doesn't boot, hangs on "Spiral Splash Screen". Then I tried Flashing CM 10.0 stable, still loops into boot forever and at times boots (after 15-20 minutes of booting on spiral splash screen) and doesn't recognise SIM card, Camera, Storage, WIFI or anything.
Then after getting fed up with this I tried flashing MIUI V5. This also takes a 15-20 to boot and fails to recognise - SIM, WiFi, Camera etc.
So lastly like a loser I flashed back my Android 4.4 it works fine.
I've my boot-loader in unlocked state.
and Yes before flashing CM or MIUI, I did - wipe data/factory, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache from CWM Recovery.
So I want to get back into CyanogenMod 10.1 stable.
