I'm on 2.2 bugless beast .4 right now. Tonight I was transfering a movie to my phone via usb. Long story short, I needed to cancel the transfer in the middle and remove my phone. Now my phone is freezing like mad, and I absolutely can't connect to my computer (not to mention that freezes it completely.) Removing the SD card seems to help, but not much. Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this?

Is there a movie player that will play the movie in full screen capacity instead of wide screen or only a small part of the screen?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm just trying to transfer the pictures I've taken on the Droid X so far to my PC. However, when I plug the phone into my laptop (via provided USB cable), the only two options I get are:
Install Motorola Driver
Open Folder to View Files
Okay, should be the second option. But when I click on this (Open Folder), the only folder options I get are things like: Autorun, Config, Setup, etc.). No "folders" per se.
How do I do this, I saw it in a another post a few days ago, but I can't find the topic now that this forum is being flooded.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIn a nut shell, when the app is loaded, it will play a short movie (maybe a few seconds at most @ 12-24fps). I will then have 2 buttons displayed on the screen, and depending on what button is pressed, it I will play another short movie (5-10 seconds). While waiting for the user to make a decision, the movie will be looping.
The movie source is stop-motion photography so it's already chopped up into frames. My question here is if I should use a Frame Animation technique, or if I should use a Movie player for this. All in all perhaps there's less than 100 still frames that make up the stop-motion. I was going to go the Frame Animation route, but I wasn't sure if having so many individual frames would kill the app so I thought I'd post here to see if anyone had any insight.
What movie files are supported on the droid? I have tried to grab my digital copies of movies from itunes and add them to my droid but they will not play. I read some stuff about the crackberry site with movies, but they seemed to have low res, id like to get some higher res movies that look super sharp on the droid. how to get max res movies made for droids resolution.
View 8 Replies View Relatedit took all day but i finally took 1080p avatar and converted it to mp4 to play on my dx. i transferred the mp4 to my sdcard and started to play. plays better than perfect until i started skipping around the movie and noticed when it gets past a certain time (1:40:50) i think it is it stops playing and cant go past. i try the file thats on my laptop and theres no problem with that. i tried downloading other movie players but they cant even play the file at all.

Just have to fix a few things before I release it for download. I am trying to add audio but am having a problem. I load the audio file into the /data/local/ folder (as an mp3 file) but it doesn't seem to play. Here is a video of the boot animation:

When I transferred them over to the Droid, then using the app Android and Rings Extended (no longer working - now coming up as 3rd party app) all my ringtones got significantly shortened.
I had them all set up as MP3 and small (220kb or less). Each one was 30 seconds long or less. Both applications hacked them off between 10 and 20 seconds. Anybody else having this issue?
I have a ton of videos that were transferred from my old phone to my Eris, and they must have been saved to the phone's built in memory. I want to transfer them to the card so I can put them into my computer. Does anyone know how to do this? I have been unable to sync using the cord because of a driver issue. (I am too un-tech savvy to install a driver from the website-it was too complicated)

I know how to connect/mount my droid to the computer, and have successfully transferred amazon mp3's that I purchased in the past. Just recently, I began experiencing problems. When I try to drag and drop, I get error messages saying that the file cannot be transferred because it is "in use." Or when I attempt to drag and drop to itunes, basically itunes freezes and I have to force quit.

He can successfully transfer the video but when he goes to the gallery to find it he has a lot of trouble, sometimes the phone crashes and he can never find the file.Anyone have any ideas? However, I want to make playlists via computer GUI and transfer that file. How do you do it. I can create play lists through the phone but that is tough using a phone.

i have seen some app transferring threads but my issue is a little different.I have my droid x already on my line and activated, my droid is just sitting on a shelf.I want some of he apps from the droid onto my droid x.
