I use to be able to send short videos to my family and friends as a text. My droid doesnt allow this. Am I missing something.
Another issue I am having is there doesnt seem to be a way to send videos to through the facebook app.

Sending pics and videos to a site for sharing is pretty easy. Now this is considering you have Photobucket and You Tube. Couldn't tell you about others. Basically after setting up your accounts with them, the camera software will send the pics to them thru the "share" option. Videos require a Wi-Fi connection. The new You Tube now does HD video, so they show up in high-quality 720p. Pretty much easy as can be. Sent a 15mb video in about a minute or so. Thought that was darn good.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is an odd problem I have. When I reboot my phone, it sends only a select few people previous text messages I've sent them. The only program I can see that could be causing it is SMS Pop Up, but I don't know if that is a culprit or has been known to do that. My girlfriend who was sitting next to me started getting text messages. She received about 13 instantly from me that she previously received from me.Can anyone decipher this dilemma?

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor example last night I went swimming. After my swim I got out and texted my friend "Hey man I'm done swimming, whats up"? Today I check my phone and I see that the same message got sent again randomly. I did not send the text again but somehow my phone re-sent that text, and literally Erased the original message that I sent myself.
Same thing happened the other night - I sent a text apologizing to a friend that I couldn't hang out with her. The next day the text got re-sent to her somehow, and she responded with "what are you talking about?". I was like "Idk wtf happened my phone is randomly re-sending texts to people". What's going on? I don't think this ever happened before the latest software update.
I'm having a hard time uploading videos that I record with my Eris to Facebook. After recording the video, Facebook is not one of the options that is presented to me when I click share. When I try YouTube, I get an error message that the video is too large. My only option is to e-mail it to myself, then go to my computer and upload from there. Not really what I'm looking for.
I believe there's an app called Qik or something like that which my do this but I'm not sure?
I have a friend who is added to my Desire's contact list.
1. He is on my Facebook contact. (His facebook pic appears in my Desire contact list)
2. He is my Gmail contact as well.
3. He is added as a 'Phone Contact' as well.
I sent him a text few days ago but don't remember if it was using facebook or my phone (network provider sms) but now when I go in to 'Messages' and send him a message, I just can't figure out if I am sending him a message via Facebook or to his mobile number.
I dont get it.how do you create a group to put contacts into, which you can send a message to, instead of writing to them one by one?

I've read about text message issues on the Hero, but so far not anything about the Eris yet. Hopefully it was just a 1-time fluke up until then it's been working perfectly for 3 days now, and its working perfectly fine again now.

Last night, I was performing at a night club and I wanted to send the videos to friends and what not so they can hear our singing. However, the video clips are anywhere from 8-20 seconds long and they are not in HD quality but 3gp. Yet it tells me the message can't be attached because it's too large.
Today I had a show, and my brother recorded me and I wanted to send the video out and it still says the same thing. Is there anything I can do? I love At & T but I am wondering does this have anything to do with their Data cap because when I had my Droid X and Incredible on Verizon. I was able to send videos up to 30 seconds long to phones via MMS but I can't send videos on my Captivate. I couldn't send videos either on the Xperia X10, I had, the aria I had, and now the backflip. (I am just using it because I love motoblur for the social networking, not the phone).
I can NOT send pictures through SMS on an X10a Unbranded phone, but if I use a X10a Rogers unlocked it works, I'm on AT&T, both phones have the same APNs and all the settings I can check, any suggestions?

When I try sending a text to an email via handcent, it doesn't show to text.My mom sends me texts via email when shes at work and I'm not able to respond unless I use the native android text app.Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or is this just not possible with handcent?

About four days later the "like-new" D1 (more accurate term would be like-crap) started doing the same thing. Spent 25min on the phone with an associate and then asked for a manager. Spent 2min with him and should have a D2 today! Moral of the story, go straight to the top. I honestly can't wait to root this bad boy.

I set up the GV application and everything seems to work great, although I cannot send SMS messages using the "Messenger" application that came with the phone. When I send a message, my number shows up as my phone's number, not my GV number. I have to use the GV application instead.Outgoing calls are fine and I see a popup that says "Calling with GoogleVoice", but nothing with SMS. Should I be able to use the Messenger application, or do I have to use the GV app? I've tried searching in here and on the Google forums, but I can't seem to get a clear answer or how I can fix this.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI successfully updated to the official Vodafone release using SEUS, loving the update so far but I've come across a problem with text messages.
Every couple of text messages they won't send and instead I get the message cannot be sent error. Trying repeated times has the same results then all of a sudden it will randomly work.
It can't be down to bad signal, last time the error came up I had full 'H' signal.
I also tried Handcent to see if using an app would make any difference but it didnt.
