Motorola Droid X :: New Venison Commercial?
Jun 28, 2010As we know, Verizon dropped the wireless part of their name and they have adopted this "Rule the Air" thing. I saw a commercial earlier and I wanted to know the phone they were showing in the commercial was it a Droid X? Has anyone seen the commercial? I think it was a Droid x because the electronics around the street were becoming animated and moving around and plus the phone in the person's hand looked way to big to be any of verizons other current phones. Idk lol maybe i am just anxious for the X

Jul 26, 2010I just saw a commercial for the Chase Real Cash Debit Card and in the scene where the guy is standing at the counter and his phone rings, he pulls out a MotoDroid! Just thought I'd share this. I think that it's cool that we are finally seeing Android phones in other commercials. I still haven't seen one in a TV show or movie yet, but I'm sure it's only time before I do. I tried finding the commercial with google, but I guess it's just too new of a commercial to be on the internet yet.

Dec 24, 2009When I'm at home, my WiFi speed is typically almost 3m DOWN and 700k UP. (Lame compared to my speeds at work) While my 3G is typically about HALF of those speeds. But here's where my confusion sets in. When I watch a YouTube video with the stock YouTube app, videos buffer faster and/or play MUCH better when using 3G. I'm wondering if the 3G connection is utilizing some kind of compression that allows this?

Nov 8, 2009for some reason i can't seem to log in to the built-in youtube app. it works fine via the browser, but when i try to log in via the app it says either "the username or password isn't valid" or "there was a network error while trying to sign in to XXX. retry now or press the back button to cancel".i'm going on vacation in two days and was looking forward to uploading a few movies on the fly. looks like i will have to do it manually via the browser.

Dec 28, 2009Not sure if there is a way to do this or not, but I don't see an option to share a Youtube Video with a GChat conversation?When you long press the video, then Share, everything is listed to share too: facebook, twitter, messaging, gmail --- but not GChat.You can work around by Sharing to Gmail, then Copy the text, and paste it into your Gchat conversation, but hmm? How do you report that?

Feb 19, 2010When I try to access my favorites and playlists, it's keeps asking me for my password telling me I entered the incorrect password or account information has changed. Nothing has changed. I am able to log onto Youtube on my pc with the same password, but can not on the Droid.
It was working just fine earlier in the evening, but I can't imagine what changed.
If I look under Accounts and Sync in the settings section, I see my gmail account and my youtube account. When I click REMOVE ACCOUNT under the youtube setting, it tells me I am going to erase all my messages and contacts. I thought I could reset the password this way, but I was concerned it was going to erase my gmail contacts as I don't have any youtube contacts and thus don't know what they are referencing.

Oct 8, 2010I have a youtube account and have it linked to my google account but I can't login to it on my phone using the youtube widget. I can login on my pc but I can't on my phone widget. Is anyone else having this problem and what kinda of fix can I do? I did a factory reset for another problem and I still can't login into the youtube account after that either. Jan 31, 2010Everytime I search for a music vid on youtube, it only results with live performances, not an actual music video, even when I type in "official music video" I get random and live results of stuff that has nothing to do with what I searched for. Also when I go directly to the site, it asks to view vids with the browser, but nothing happens becauuse of flash player. When I first got my droid, the internet worked great, now its slower than dial up. And face book problems suck so bad I have to type in facebook.com everytime, even then, it keeps directing me to touch, and mobile. I know some of you are having sim problems with facebook, actual help would be great, I don't know how to disable viewing in mobile only.

Aug 28, 2010I was trying to fix the youtube upload problem on my Droid X 2.2 leak rooted when I deleted it and installed the old one. Well it didnt work now i have no youtube app. Can someone post a youtube.apk for me to download and install from the Droid X 2.2 leak (rooted). Note I tried the ported EVO version, it just force closes. I think i need the exact one from the droid x 2.2 leak. Can someone post it so I dont have to do the SBF recovery, then root, then install the leak.

Dec 15, 2009All you need to do is get the YouTube channel url and use Subscribe YouTube podcast channel RSS feed as MP4, FLV or PSP video feed, convert YouTube channel into FLV RSS feed, subscribe to YouTube in iTunes, subscribe to YouTube feed in your favorite podcast application. Watch YouTube feed offline, extract f to get a Doggcatcher url that's compatible. For format, select MP4 (iTunes). I then email myself the URLs and copy and paste into Doggcatcher.
