Use k9 for aol mail and gmail in aol mail when i reply or compose i can attach a file by hitting menu but when i go to my gmail account in k9 i dont have an attachment option..anyone help me out?

Someone emailed me a pic to my gmail account and I can't view it on my phone. All I get is large white space with a little blue box in the middle with a question mark in it. But when I check my gmail from a browser (on the phone or a computer) I can see the pic just fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was having problems viewing attachments on my exchange email, for about 2 weeks contacted IT department they have no clue. last night and all day today i was able to view them using the stock quick office. just received a couple emails with attachments and guess what i can no longer view them. tried with and with out wifi turned on and off, no dice. the server is running exchange 2003 i receive and send emails fine. just can't view attachments.also calendar syncs. could it be a bad app? all though i have not downloaded any for weeks now.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI noticed that after the update yesterday I am able to open attachments on e-mail. Prior to that I would try to open attachments and would get the mesage that retrieving file and nothing would ever happen. I also had to reset my login for Facebook. I haven't noticed anything else yet. On another note, a coworker just got the HTC with 1.5 Android. He also likes the software but once he saw a few of the features that the 2.0.1 software has he wants an upgreade.

So those of you that have an screen protector on your droid, what are you using? r u happy with it? I have tried Wrapsol, and i ended up taking it off right away and going to return it back for an refund because after putting it on, i saw alot of haziness on the screen and it drove me nutz, i don't know if i should have waited for the next day to see if it goes away but it did not look right.

There are options to add New Folder, All contacts, etc. After adding a new folder and dragging app shortcuts, I can't seem to figure out how to rename the folders from the default "Folder" name.

I would like to set the phone so all output through the headphone jack is digital, that way, I could have it run through a dedicated DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) and use superior (and dedicated) audiophile equipment. View 2 Replies View RelatedMy first droid died recently (RIP), and thankfully the insurance did have droid 1's to replace it (refurb). My original had the raised keyboard, this one doesn't. Otherwise seems the same--except: under Settings-->Wifi and Networks is a tab called "Tethering." So I plugged it into my computer, turned on USB Tether, and yet I couldn't seem to get internet from the phone's data service. Is this a weird, non-working foyo feature?

View 6 Replies View RelatedAs you know, when you boot up the droid, you get the option to swipe right and put the phone on "silent". However, once you set up your phone with a security pattern, the first screen to come up is the pattern screen, and then you no longer get the swipe right option screen. Is the only way then to go into sound settings and put the phone on silent the "long way"? Any way to get the silent swipe right screen to come up AFTER the pattern unlock screen?
Also, has anyone noticed that around the entire rectangle glass screen, there's a tiny groove on all 4 sides, which is starting to collect dust particles? I'm getting dust particles in these "tiny grooves" along the edges of the screen before you hit the metal. Yes, I do carry the Droid in a holster, and I'm pretty OCD about my equipment, so it isn't ME.
How do I resend the exact same text message that I have already sent? I have 'long pressed' on the old message and here are the options that are available, but I do not see resend:

It looks like Forward will resend it but it puts 'Fwd:' at the beginning of the message. So, I didn't know if there was another way that would just resend the exact same typed message without adding anything to it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI maybe 1 day to late to let everyone in on this, completely forgot about this issue.OK, I've been seeing a lot of the same post with slide to unlock problems, or more the entire thing is missing problem. I saw the same issues back when the leaks were being applied. People whom had disabled the lock, updated the leak, didn't have the lock anymore nor did they have the option to add it back if they wanted to. I was (and still am) in the same boat, but the opposite. I had the lock active before the leak and after the update I still had it, the new one, but theres no option to turn it off. Now I have seen a couple threads where Moto has been contacted after a failed attemp with Verizon and they said that yes, an option should be in the settings like the original 2.1 - but its not.I should have remembered this, and at least posted a thread stating - "If you want your screen to lock, have it active before you update, if not, do the oposite" I've only seen one instance that someone had theirs disabled and it was active after the OTA, but again, they can't remove it.
If anyone else has noticed this ( I do understand that a lot of people just go day2day using their lock without thinking twice and never look to disable it ) please post below the results before and after the OTA, also include if you were leaked, reverted, OTA - or rooted. Maybe different variables produce different results.
Hope this helps some with their lock, and maybe if I'm correct some will catch it before they OTA their X.
A coworker in the office has a Droid 1 and his google apps (we just switched to the standard edition for work) calendar syncs.
When I add my google apps I don't even have Calendar as an option. Is this missing from the Droid X or is it a 2.1 thing?
I can't find the option to disable the lockscreen slider?
Under Location & Security settings, "set up screen lock", I select the option for "none" but it doesn't disable the slider.
I would like the phone to go to the homescreen immediately after pressing the power button.
Anything I am missing?
When I try to access my Calendar app, it tells me that I have not set up a calendar to sync. After going to the accounts page, and going to my google account, there are only options to sync my gmail and sync my contacts, but not my calendars.
