When I end a call on my Droid X, the phone displays a "Call Time" window and beeps. I've turned the phone volume down and even tried disabling/muting every audio setting I can find, but I still get that annoying beep. Is there anyway to turn it off?

Just recently I started getting an annoying "beep-beep" every 10 seconds during phone calls. I've tried killing all apps and it's still there. Have I screwed up some setting?

I went to my home screen, clicked menue, then settings.
I went to notification settings then to notification sounds. There is not a silent! I don't know how to make this sound go away!
I tried installing the "Missed Call" app, hoping that I could override the default settings on my phone, but it doesnt. Now I have two missed call notifications.
Anyone know how to disable that?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI don't remember my DroidX always doing this, but recently after I hang-up from a call it shows the "Call Time XX:XX" in the center of the screen and I can't do anything until it goes away, which is generally 5-8 seconds. Hitting Home, Back, etc does nothing and tapping on the screen or the message also does nothing.Is this a setting I can disable? I can look at the recent calls to get the length of call if I need to see it, so I don't need the dramatic pause to give me this info.

I've had the phone about 2 months now and i'm sure it didnt do it from new. I think it's come from a app i've removed and its left something behind but I could be wrong. It's not really a beep, but I couldn't think of another way to describe it in one word. What I'm hearing every once in a while during a call is the sound you'd hear if someone on a land line would press a button on their phone during the call.
Is anyone else having this issue? I know I've had phones in the past that will beep every x minutes during a phone call, but that setting could be turned off. I KNOW I do not have a call/text/etc waiting when this is happening, or any other update, etc. from an app.

which was played through the main external speaker instead of phone earpiece speaker..
what can be the exact reason that causes it...
can it be as simple as a setting some in some xml file?
also its not some .ogg file in /media/ui or some place else...its some network tone i guess

Getting emails, texts, and other notifications (especially the vibrations) while I am on a call is driving me nuts. Where can I turn this feature off? I don't want to turn off notifications and vibration completely; I just want the phone to realize I am busy talking to someone and don't need the sounds and vibrations distracting both parties on the call.
Am I the only one this happens to? I keep searching for others with this problem, but haven't had much luck. Is it an Android issue? 1.5 or 2.0?

I'm using a MotoCliq running 1.5.
MotoDroid 2.2. Since 2.2, the auto-rotate screen goes haywire from time to time. I normally use the vertical format, easier to type, but when it switches, not much screen left, and I have to go back and back to start over again.

I had that phone stolen and got a replacement that is identical but running newer software, I think. All is great, except for the fact that it no longer displays the time a call was made or received in the history. I see this as a very important feature to have on a phone, so how can I get it to work properly? At present it just says the date - no time.
