View 8 RepliesSo recently my eris has beeping ringing very quite. My text messaging notification is as loud as normal, but everytime I get a call I cant hear my phone unless I am right next to it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust recently I started getting an annoying "beep-beep" every 10 seconds during phone calls. I've tried killing all apps and it's still there. Have I screwed up some setting?
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo when I'm on a call, during the call I keep hearing an ongoing Beeep in the background. It's loud, distracting, and annoying. This began happening after the 2.2 update. Otherwise, everything is working ok. It's possibly a timer, or something, how can I shut if off...
View 18 Replies View RelatedWhen I end a call on my Droid X, the phone displays a "Call Time" window and beeps. I've turned the phone volume down and even tried disabling/muting every audio setting I can find, but I still get that annoying beep. Is there anyway to turn it off?
View 4 Replies View RelatedOften during my calls I can hear a call waiting tone (double beep) but when I look at the screen there is no parallell call? Am I hearing the other persons call waiting or is it a glitch in my phone? I had this issue on every ROM, 2.1, 2.2 and live in Sweden (if it makes a difference)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't take it any more, davros's kid needs a few (gentle) nose beeps (this is a natural consequence of being too cute).
Here:
He's holding the little kid in nose beep position, you may have noticed; beep away.
My biggest problem these days seems to be around the reminder tones for text messages, e-mails, calendar, etc. They only ring one time and it is this little bitty noise. If you don't hear it then you are out of luck unless you just happen to look at your phone. Is there an app where I can put different tones that will continue to beep with reminders until I acknowledge it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just noticed that when I end a call on my Desire about 2-3 seconds later I get this annoying single beep. I've had the phone about 2 months now and i'm sure it didnt do it from new. I think it's come from a app i've removed and its left something behind but I could be wrong. I've tried putting the phone on silent but the beep is still there.
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else phone "Beep" 3-5 seconds after a call is ended?
Background: HTC Incredible, Rooted, Launcher Pro
It's not really a beep, but I couldn't think of another way to describe it in one word. What I'm hearing every once in a while during a call is the sound you'd hear if someone on a land line would press a button on their phone during the call.
Is anyone else having this issue? I know I've had phones in the past that will beep every x minutes during a phone call, but that setting could be turned off. I KNOW I do not have a call/text/etc waiting when this is happening, or any other update, etc. from an app.
Just recently my Incredible has started to beep once after I end a call. Does anybody else hear this beep when you end a call? how to disable it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Hero has just started making a beep through the main speaker when ending a call - I don't remember it doing this before - is this normal and is there a setting to disable it?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter every call if one of the both sides hung up a loud BEEP comes out of the speaker.
I found no option to disable this sound. But I read that it is a system sound and if you delete this sound it disappears. Where I can find this sound to disable it?
HTC HD2 Android 2.3.7 MIUI V6.0
There is a beep tone when u end a call..
which was played through the main external speaker instead of phone earpiece speaker..
what can be the exact reason that causes it...
can it be as simple as a setting some in some xml file?
also its not some .ogg file in /media/ui or some place else...its some network tone i guess
My sprint hero makes a vary annoying beep whenever a call is ended.
View 15 Replies View RelatedHaven't needed one of these since my Symbian days but I'm looking for a beep-free call recorder rather urgently.Free/paid not important as long as it does the job! running on KK 4.4.2.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't hear the audible beep of an incoming call while its in call waiting. When I hang up the call I see there was a missed call but while in the first call I could never hear an audible beep.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the Galaxy S2 jelly bean version. My problem is that when I am on a call and I receive another call, I get the notification beeping sound, and the person I am talking to also hears the beep and becomes aware that someone is trying to call me! The person I'm talking to should not hear the beep or know that I'm being called by a third person!
how to prevent/turn off the beep to the person I am talking to without turning off call waiting ?
I have literally tried everything to turn this off on my Motorola Cliq.
I went to my home screen, clicked menue, then settings.
I went to notification settings then to notification sounds. There is not a silent! I don't know how to make this sound go away!
I tried installing the "Missed Call" app, hoping that I could override the default settings on my phone, but it doesnt. Now I have two missed call notifications.
I have two questions:
1) Before the update, there was a sound that indicated when the call was ended. Anyway to get that back?
2) Has anyone figured out a way to change the end button behavior that was previously controlled by the Spare Parts app? I would like to end button to go home and then go to sleep but Spare Parts can't do it under the new software. Any ideas?
When you want to make a call - you press the phone button and the phone dial buttons pop up and on the top some names from the contact list. You can roll down to get the full list of contact names to select from...
My problem is that this dial list is too sesnsetive : it is enough to touch a name and puff it starts dialing right away. This way I started call by accident people that I did not really want to call. Can this smart dial be made less touch sensetive. Or better: an option when the phone will respond "do you want to call this person?" or something
I have an Eris and my recent call log on my phone displays my outgoing calls as Unknown even if they are saved in my Google contacts. I have the outgoing calls set to go through GV option selected on the phone and I'm not sure what's going on. The contact is displayed for a second and then reverts to Unknown. When I add the unknown number to my existing contacts it works and displays properly, but when I call the same number back from my contact list, it shows up as unknown. My incoming calls and missed calls all show up with the proper contact info, so it seems to just be a problem with my outgoing calls. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i rooted with Droid Does rom, because i heard its nice and fast and what not. So basically the only problem i have with it is this.
When on a call, the proximity sensor doesnt work, so the screen goes black. And when i press the end call button to turn the screen back on it just ends the call. Is this normal? Or a known issue?
This is really annoying and I can't figure out how to get it to stop. When I'm in a call and get an email or text message, the phone vibrates as it normally would- causing the person on the other end of the line to hear a really annoying noise.. Is there a way to turn off notification sounds/vibrations when you're in a call.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am a new user and this could have been some bizzare newb thing I have to look out for, but this was odd. I was talking to a friend (friend #1) for a while (no headsets or anything, just holding against the ear). Near the end of our 30 min talk, I hear another voice. Thought it was just some racket in the background, hung up on friend #1, and on the line was friend #2. Friend #2 says 'who was that you were talking to, I heard the whole conversation.'
That freaked me out. Anyone accidentally do this? I doesn't seem that all the buttons you'd need to do a 3-way call would have actually be done in sequence with me not knowing and talking on the phone. What if this happened during a business call or something. I felt like I was in that Seinfeld episode where Jerry and George are on the phone and the girl on the other end of the phone heard the whole conversation.
Anyone else have a problem time to time where you're getting an incoming call you hit the green button or the button on the screen to pick up the call and it takes so long to happen that the call is missed and never picks up.
Or how about when you hit phone and you dial a number and hit call and it lags big time, or when go to your past history calls and touch it, it takes like 5-10 sec to make the call?
Does anybody have success recording their calls on the Eris? I have a Motorola Droid, and apparently Motorola has disabled all call recording driver-side, so I am considering switching to an Eris if there is an app which works with it. Don't much care for the Droid's keyboard, anyway.
There are several recording apps in market: AllCallRecorder, CallRecorder, vRecorder, Phone Recorder. Does anyone have any experience with any of these working on the Eris, and if it works, does it work only with the speakerphone on, or all the time?
