I have just purchased the DroidX coming from a BlackBerry Storm2. I have 3 Go Daddy E-Mail accounts that I use for my business. Can somebody tell me the best way to set the phone up to receive them?

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some strange reason I can't seem to set-up my personal e-mail account on this Droid phone. I click on "e-mail", I type in my e-mail address and my password, and then I click "next". And then I get a message that says my username and/or password does not match. But I am positive it does, as I have gone online to test it. I have tried retyping my username and passwrod over and over again without any success. I can't get passed that screen.
I have Verizon FiOS at my house, so my e-mail is set-up through Verizon/Yahoo.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 2 gmail accounts. Unfortunately, one of them is for my calendar and contacts and the other is for my personal e-mail. As of now, my cal and contacts are syncing fine but I do not use the e-mail account that is associated with thier username. I have my other account (personal e-mail) set up sepeartely....along with a few other e-mail accounts(work and etc.). I would like to know if i can leave my cal and contacts setup on the regular droid sync account but change the e-mail account to my personal acct. so it will "push" by default with out having it in a seperate palce on the droid. I know this is confusing but i dont know how else to explian it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to figure out whats going on. I have 2 DI for myself and girlfriend. I have my email (gmail and yahoo) setup through the HTC Mail Client and they work fine. I setup my other phone the same way and it worked fine, but once the yahoo account completed the process of downloading the inbox, I got an Authentication Error stating the login was incorrect. The login is not wrong and works fine to login via the standard web page. I tried to delete the Yahoo Account on the HTC, but when I went to setup again I had the same issue. Not sure how or why this could be happening. Any advice is appreciated. Also verified all the yahoo email settings on my working device and they are all the same on the other device with the issue.

2) How do I turn off Google Mail? When I am home, I don't need my phone to also be running in the background checking my email - as I can check my email from my laptop.
with the stock Mail app if you have upgraded the leaked version of 2.1. Sorry if already posted. Just put your email and password in and it will auto configure.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my Droid. I unrooted my phone from 2.2 because I ran tests on it and found that it is not running as well as it should be. I went to 2.1 and then found out that it was still rooted so my brother and I unrooted again down to stock 2.0.1. Now my phone will not receive the OTA so I can upgrade to stock 2.1. Does anyone know why it won't receive the update?

View 10 Replies View RelatedAfter reading that 2.1 is "supposed" to drop this week, I have a rooted droid running Beast 7.4 which has the OTA disabled. Is there a way to get the phone back to being able to receive the update without wiping all my text/e-mail/call logs/pics? I'm guessing it would require moving to a different ROM or just back to the original 2.0.1 update...but I'm not clear how to do it. If anyone can post a link or explain it in non-Linux lingo, I would greatly appreciate it! I just don't want to have to revert back to the original 2.0.1 and lose everything...don't care about the apps because I can just re-install those.

The phone and everything on it work fine except it is running Firmware 2.0 When I check for updates it says that there are no updates available. My old Droid that broke was running the 2.2 How do I upgrade to the 2.2 or will the update just appear one of these days? Also the yahoo mail app does not appear in the marlet on the new phone but I had been running it on my old phone. Is this due to the older operating system?
