I saw one app listed, Foxy Ring, but wondering if there is a way to do this on the phone without having to have an app running? I read some concerns over battery use with Foxy Ring. I need to have the phone active but the notification tone from emails is driving me towards throwing this phone away. Another option would be turning off notification tone all together. Dec 24, 2009Does anybody know why the alarm clock turns itself off after 10 minutes? This is kind of a problem. I'm very difficult to wake up. I have to set two alarm clocks, and they usually go off for a good 15-20 minutes before my brain even recognizes the sound and wakes me up. I've always been this way.For some reason, though, I've woken up late several times while using the Droid as one of my clocks. I don't remember ever having woken up to silence the alarm or hit snooze, so I could not figure out why it wasn't going off. Today I noticed a notification in the status bar saying "Alarm silenced after 10 minutes". The alarm turns itself off after going off for 10 minutes, apparently?

Sep 17, 2010I've seen a fair few threads about removing these sliders on other phones, but no comments about them at all on the Magic... And I can't see any way to turn them on on my Magic either...
Are these an Android 2.x feature only, or just not included in the version for the Magic because it's got dedicated answer and hangup buttons?
Either way, is there a way to add them to the Magic (either a setting I haven't found, or an app to do the same thing?) as it's rather annoying hanging up on people when you don't even know the phone was ringing because it's in your pocket, or when you do hear it ring you hang up or answer the call by touching the screen as you're getting the phone out of your pocket...
General :: How To Create Toggle Icons For Widgetlocker Sliders
Jun 9, 2014I'm looking for a way to create toggle icons for widgetlocker sliders (not touch widgets, want it in slider form).
The couple such as brightness and sound that are built in can just be changed in the theme but with making extra working toggle icon.
For instance, widget locker doesn't have a wifi action, I can use a Tasker Shortcut to switch the wifi on and off, just need a way for the icon to change with it.

Is there a way I can turn the vibrate on press off for the dialer? I think that is causing some of the lag. Nothing on my phone vibrates except when receiving a call and when dialing. It's much more responsive with vibrate on press turned off. Also is there a way to silence the emergency dialer?

Sometimes I'm in the middle of something and the only way to shut the thing up is to turn on the phone and pull down the notification bar. Is there any faster way to silence a text alert?
