I've just installed ATOMODS on my Samsung Galaxy ace plus and when i go into my settings app, everything is just sensitivity sliders!
I think it might be the 'Customized ICS Styled Settings' mod, how can I get rid of it (would re-flashing ATOMODS work, just deselecting that option?)

It has no notification attached to it, restarting the device doesn't make it go away and neither am I aware of any app installed that could have caused this. Due to the resemblance the icon bears to the ICS logo, I thought it might be some system-based event (something like an android anniversary date or whatnot), yet it persisted through GMT midnight, which makes it seems less likely then it did when I found out. I tried an image-based search for any images and screenshots containing the said icon, but came out empty-handed. As Henzman said, it's the new icon of the Power Toggles app.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI was searching online to see how to make a shortcut to toggle the 3G connection on and off without having to sift through multiple menus. I came across the method of having a long press on the power lock button to pull up the menu but mine does not show the network data on/off option and never has. It only shows
* Silent mode
* Airplane mode
* Power off
* Restart
Nothing else. Is there a way I can make a shortcut or some other way to ADD the network data on/off on this pull up menu from the power lock button? By the way why would my phone not have this option from the start when the phone came with Gingerbread and was updated to ICS 4.0.4? I have Sprint so they call this the Epic 4G Touch, so not sure if it was Sprint that buggered this from the other SGS2s that have this feature or not.
after changing some router settings (like the number of the channel) my SGS2 on 4.0.3 ICS doesn't connect anymore. WiFi itself is working fine, except the AP of the router i changed. Deleting all AP information and reentering all WPA2 data will change nothing. In my eyes the phone is not forgetting AP data completely when you try to delete an AP entry.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a way to create toggle icons for widgetlocker sliders (not touch widgets, want it in slider form).
The couple such as brightness and sound that are built in can just be changed in the theme but with making extra working toggle icon.
For instance, widget locker doesn't have a wifi action, I can use a Tasker Shortcut to switch the wifi on and off, just need a way for the icon to change with it.
Can someone recommend decent settings for Setcpu on my SGS.

just got a galaxy s and want to put photos from my pc into it so they show up in gallery on the phone as albums, i tried dragging the folder to the dcim folder but they don't show up, I am used the iphone and itunes so i can't figure it out please help. I got the photos to show up but they are not in any folder, the just show up in gallery-> camera as loose photos?

View 3 Replies View RelatedPrior to installing the external card - the folders app showed /sd. Which I assumed was the internal one. Then I insert the external one, reboot the phone, and tehre is no additional directory in the folder view. Why is this? Secondly, its a 16GB card. Its reported as 14.58GB. The format option is greyed out. Is it automatically mounted at power on? Ideally I want to know where I install things to know that they are on the external card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got a new SIM card (same provider, Telkomsel, but for a different area code in Indonesia). The settings are supposed to be automatic, and I do indeed have a "Telkomsel GPRS" under "Mobile networks" > "Access Point Names". The 3G on the old SIM worked pretty well, without having to do anything, but this one gets only rare and short-lived connections to the net. I've rung up Telkomsel a few times now, and they're supposed to be fixing it soon, but it's a few days and I'm getting impatient. One of the help line people suggested manually entering a new access point, but the info he gave me was a bit confusing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOne thing that has been bugging me is the 4 buttons at the bottom and the lack of sensitivity. I find myself pushing them 2, 3 times to get the expected response. Sometimes I know it's OS lag, but other times i really think/thought it was an issue with the buttons.I changed my default keyboard from Samsung to Android and I think the buttons work great now. Can anyone else confirm? Maybe it's just in my head.

When tapping on icons on the touch screen, i can pretty much just use my finger nail, but to get the button on the bottom to consistently respond, I have to push and hold with my entire thumb. Anyone else have this problem? Is there some way to turn up the sensitivity?

When we put her SD card from the Fasc into the Sky, all her pictures didn't transfer over, I guess only the main "Camera" album. I used the Astro app and see that the additional images that aren't showing up must be in a subfolder called ".thumbnails", since it's full of image files.
I downloaded Rescan Media and ran that but it didn't work.
Is there any way to turn up the sensitivity on the touch screen?It seems decent enough, but it is no where near as resposive as my old iPhone.Why? It just seems like I have to touch everything on the screen twice.

I am using the Galaxy grand I9082 Duos. I have a simple problem in WIFI signal strength, on this device signal strength showing very weak for a distance of 3 to 4 meets away from the wifi router in the next room. But Laptop shows good strength at same point.
If I take my mobile close to router shows very good strength.
