What program do i need to make pictures wallpapers on the droid x ? looking for some Bengals cheerleader pics and some dukes of hazard wallpapers. i can find the pics but when i set as wallpaper it is way too big and looks like crap.

I cropped some desktop wallpapers I had so they'd fit the supposed Droid requirements of 960 x 854, but when I select them it makes me cut them down even more with a movable box... is there something I'm missing here or did I do it wrong.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo anyways I was laying on the couch trying to figure out how to use a pic I have as a wallpaper for my evo. Then it suddenly came to me...use power point. So I went to my laptop opened up power point and copy and paste the pic to it. I change the background of the presentation cause the pic was black and I just centered it then stretched it from top to bottom then saved it on my phone. And lo and behold it fit just perfectly and it kept the same resolution without losing any pixels! So if you wanna try it that way you can. As for the presentation on the background I just made it the same color of the background of the pic. If the color is too crazy I just made it black.
Additionally you can do the same thing with a wallpaper on your PC and just follow the same steps except stretch it until it covers the entire background presentation. Also make sure you save it as a JPEG format too. I hope that this helps with those that are frustrated with the crop feature on the Evo.
When setting a pic as my wallpaper why does it always give me the green box to crop a certain bit of the picture, Why cant i have the FULL picture?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid X and when I take a photo in portrait mode, it looks nice and sharp on my screen...I can see the entire photo and it is perfect. Then when I try to set it as my wallpaper, it forces me to crop in on the photo which kills the quality. I just want to use the whole photo so it looks JUST like the screen right after I snap the photo. Are there any apps out there that will let me do that? Seems stupid to have to offload the photo onto a PC, resize it to 960x854, and then upload it back to the phone to that it will fit perfectly.

I have the HTC Incredible & was wondering how to set pics as wallpaper.When i set as wallpaper it highlights the center of pic & when i set it it is then oversized?How do i set whole pic?Alsohow do i remove pic from phone to computer not the sd card.When i plug phone in laptop it doesnt show pics that are stored on phones drive but does show the folder for sd card?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to put a custom boot animation on my moto droid 1. I have root I have done it before and I am using froyo. My big problem now is that I tried putting a different one I downloaded on and it worked. So I need someone to tell me whats wrong with the one I made, because I am out of ideas. I have compared size, resolution, ppi, bit depth but for some reason my images are way bigger files. The sequence was created by using virtualdub to clip a section of an animated short, then exporting an image sequence as png.
But I've fed the images through gimp and an image resizer. The frames are only some of them because I went through deleting every other frame a few times to cut down on the total size. The file is too big to attach here so i put it on my web space at:

I am using the patch that lets me put the files in datalocal and be named bootanimation.zip. it works I've tried with other animations like I said.
I want MY pictures to appear in the "wallpaper gallery". i put pictures into the Wallpaper folder, but when i go to change the wallpaper on the phone and i select the source as wallpaper gallery, my pictures don't show up in there. how to make that happen? i like that wallpaper gallery because its just.. faster! plus, its cool!

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy wife's Incredible will automatically rejustify the margins of a web page when she enlarges the type size, and will rejustify the margins if she then shrinks the type size. I cannot get the X to rejustify in this manner, except sporadically on BBC News. At the Verizon store, the Flextronic tech went through the systems menus and could not get the margins to justify either. Anyone know how to make the X rejustify the margins?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSending pics and videos to a site for sharing is pretty easy. Now this is considering you have Photobucket and You Tube. Couldn't tell you about others. Basically after setting up your accounts with them, the camera software will send the pics to them thru the "share" option. Videos require a Wi-Fi connection. The new You Tube now does HD video, so they show up in high-quality 720p. Pretty much easy as can be. Sent a 15mb video in about a minute or so. Thought that was darn good.

Im satisfied with the pic quality from posted samples. But the original has a noticeable lag when taking one pic to the next making quick shots and successive shots not very practicable. Specially since it makes moving subjects blurry. Does the Droid X camera take faster pics then the original?
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo whenever i save a picture using the default browser... it will not show up in the gallery. How do you fix this? Extremeeeellyyy irritating. When i look at downloads on the browser it will show only the picture you clicked on as being in the gallery, but as soon as you open the regular gallery outside the browser download menu... it wont show up. Who would have thought it would be so hard to update a twitter pic on such a "smart"phone -__-
