Oct 26, 2010My calendar widget will not update to the current date. Right now it is showing that today is yesterday (which is when i placed the widget on my desktop). When I open the widget, the calendar shows the correct date, but on my desktop it doesn't.

May 1, 2010I can create a static widget without thinking, I can even create a widget like the analogue clock widget that will update itself, however, I can not for the life of me figure out how to create a widget that reacts to when a user clicks on it. Here is the best code sample that the developer documentation gives to what a widget activity should contain (the only other hint being the API demos, which only creates a static widget):

HTC Droid Eris :: Facebook Widget - Update Not Available
Apr 19, 2010Last night I noticed that the Facebook Widget displayed a message "update not available". If you clicked the "F" to go to your profile, newsfeed that worked. However the newsfeed that pushes to the widget stopped. I haven't changed my settings and everything else is updating regularly. I removed the widget, replaced it and it just shows up blank and the "F" no longer hot links. However, from the same program, I can add the shortcut to Facebook and that works.

May 15, 2010Girlfriend just got the 2.1 OTA update and there only seems to be one clock widget. What am I missing here? The android widgets only show an analog clock and I can't find any widgets under HTC widgets. Nothing. At all. No widgets whatsoever... Anybody had this issue, can help me out here? I'm waiting for my OTA update and would love to have this fixed before I get my phone updated.

Can we update to 2.2 via update.zip in recovery, install rom manager, and then install MY backup on his phone? I'm currently uploading them to file hosting, and wondering if this would work.
If so, will he be fully rooted, deodexed, and themed(I'm rocking the xtreme 2.2 theme)?

Jul 25, 2010I posted this question sort of embedded in the "show us your Droid X screen" but I think it got buried with all the "what is that widget?" questions.I see on some screens the picture widget picture is big. Mine is only about 1 inch by 1/2 inch.I can barely even get 1/2 a face in the picture.How do you get a bigger picture?I'm running LauncherPro, is that effecting it?Since I couldn't get a bigger picture, I decided to try and add the slide show widget. But when I try, it says Widget Conflict only one photo slideshow per home screen. I don't have any other slideshow widgets on my screen. Any ideas?

Sep 26, 2010So one of the cool things about Froyo is being able to check off Enable Automatic Update for market apps. So i have that checked off for like 80+% of my 80+ apps (that took a while to do let me tell you). Now i have had three apps have updates available since i checked off the box, yet they never actually automatically updated. I waited, hours, still never updated. Is there a setting i need to modify? Do i need to tell it what time of day to do it? Anyone else noticing this? I only really want it in apps that i don't care about reading the new features. But it is annoying that i have it enabled and it does nothing.

Jan 19, 2010I've only had my Droid for a week, but I would like to know if anyone knows of a widget that I can use to get my voicemails. I have to do several steps with the notification in the bar. I would like to do just one, and have a bigger visual notification a on my home screen I came over from a Samsung Omnia (WinMo) that had a widget that let me just click and sent me straight to my voicemail box. I also have a friend that has a Samsung Moment that has this feature (I guess cause its 1.5). Now, I haven?t got my invite yet for GV, and I tried to use HulloMail, but it didn?t work for me (kept saying that I had no messages when I did).

Removed bulk of post since developer is working with me on pinpointing the issue.
So, looking for another good 1x1 battery widget that'll do increments of 1% - or at least 5%. Suggestions? I've found several that will just report the stock %, which doesn't help since stock will only do 10% increments.

Aug 16, 2010I searched for this on the Droid X forum and didn't quickly find an answer. I also googled to see if there was any widget that you could place on a home screen to display apps (not hidden by LP Plus), but didn't really find anything I really was looking for with that either.

I'm looking for a widget for my last home page I need to finish customizing that will give me the ability to look at my App Drawer (the Apps I use frequently and want to display with LP Plus - while hiding ones I don't want to show up).

May 8, 2010Does anyone know if the stock calendar widget can display more than 1 agenda item? Seems that displaying only 1 item on a 2*2 widjet is a waste of space.I have droid agenda and smooth calender widgets installed.
Smooth calendar suites my needs better, but does not fit with other widgets on my home screen as well as the stock widget.Droid agenda is awesome, just cluttered.I would like for the stock widget to work better for me.

Mar 4, 2010A few days ago a downloaded a widget that was similar to the beautiful widgets icons. It's name was DroidLight I believe. You can't get it through the market, you have to download it through a link somewhere on this site. I had to do a nandroid backup and lost the apk file. I'm pretty sure that Xeudoxus helped put it together.
