My calendar widget will not update to the current date. Right now it is showing that today is yesterday (which is when i placed the widget on my desktop). When I open the widget, the calendar shows the correct date, but on my desktop it doesn't.

How come when I load up the calendar widget to display on my phone it just shows a small square with no dat or anything? It just says no upcoming events? Does it show the date or is there a widget that does the date etc?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI think this has been posted before but I haven't found an answer yet. I'm using the one-day calender widget. When I have an all day event, it shows the wrong date. For instance, I have a all day event on the 18th; today is the 16th and it's showing the event as being tomorrow.
Anyone else have this problem and find a fix yet?
I'm affraid I'll show up at the wrong place a day early or a day late...
I want to remove the existing calendar application icon and replace it with a date/time widget over it. The widget now when pressed does nothing but only shows current date and day of week. Can this be done? I have tried other programs but they only seem to allow me change the name of the icon. I tried using any cut and also Launcher.

When I set the time to 11:59PM the date changes when the clock changes to 12:00AM when the phone is active but the date does not change when the phone is inactive?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've now had and used my Samsung Moment for a full month now, and I have to say this is the best phone I have ever used.
I carry multiple smartphones on me, usually a Blackberry of some sort, Palm Treos / Centros, iPhone, and now my Samsung Moment. While all the smartphones are really good, the Samsung Moment has been really great.
Despite all the complaints you read here, I have only had a couple of minor annoyances:
1. The Google Calendar widget doesn't default to the current day when you click on it. I have accidentally entered appointments for "today" when I realize a bit later that it was on another day that I had scrolled to previously. I hope there will be a setting to always display the current day in the future.
2. I use Astrid to sync my to do list with Remember The Milk. Anytime I add a new task if I'm using the physical keyboard, and slide it shut and go to the portrait mode for the virtual keyboard, somehow my text is wiped clean and I have to start from scratch again.
The battery life is excellent. Based on my moderate use, I easily get 2-3 days out of my phone, which is as good as my Palm Centro or my Blackberries.So glad I have this phone, can't wait for future updates though to play with.
The native calendar widget doesn't display the current days events only the upcoming ones. Is there a way to change this or a different calendar app that is better?

When I add an event by selecting a day in the future, it opens an agenda but the start/end date is always the current date. Anybody else with a DX have this problem? Am I doing something wrong? I really want to upgrade to LP for my phone, but there are two moto widgets that I really like but can't seem to find similar replacements. One of them is the calendar widget and the other is the weather widget. What I'm looking for is an app that displays the current date and the next upcoming event. I've found a few, but they take up too much space for my tastes. I'm trying to keep these two on the home screen for easy viewing. Secondly I'd love a weather widget which could display the weather information in a small amount of space. Pictures are not necessary, I could live with text descriptions.

View 2 Replies View Relatednow, when you press a date on the calendar, instead of a list of times of the day to imput event, you see event (if one is scheduled), Add event at top, and a weather widget for the specified day at the bottom. seems to be a week's worth of forecasts.that's all i've found so far, not bad for an incremental update

Default is nice, but I'd like to tweak it just a tad, and it says it's skinnable.I just haven't figured out how.well, as usual, as soon as I posted I went back and played with it some more, and it looks like you have to configure it as an app, then install the widget. While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?
