Jul 26, 2010Has anyone else noticed that when they turn WiFi on through the widget (either android or motorola one) it doesn't always actually turn on wireless?
I usually have to go to WiFi settings and then once I do that it connects to my router. This will keep happening until I restart the phone and then the widget will work another 1-2 times and then I'll have to go into the settings menu until I restart again.
Unrelated: Has anyone else had their 3G dropout today or is it just me? I'm in the northeast.

Nov 2, 2010Is it possible to turn off the 3G (other than using airplane mode)? When I got my droid X a week ago it was working and now it's not. I did turn off a number of things to save battery life and I connect mainly through WiFi but not the 3G connection is not working, no 3G icon on the status bar even with airplane mode off and the phone itself working to make calls (3 bars). I've looked all over "settings" to see if there is a way to turn 3G off and on and don't find anything.

May 8, 2010So all of a sudden today I notice the weather wont update. Then I try turning on GPS. Won't turn on. The button is lit on the power dock but no icon. Mine is only about 1 inch by 1/2 inch.I can barely even get 1/2 a face in the picture.How do you get a bigger picture?I'm running LauncherPro, is that effecting it?Since I couldn't get a bigger picture, I decided to try and add the slide show widget. But when I try, it says Widget Conflict only one photo slideshow per home screen. I don't have any other slideshow widgets on my screen. Any ideas?

Dec 30, 2009i was just getting out the car right now when my phone dropped from my pocket into the curb and there was water there now my phone only turns on and says " bootloader 2c.6c" on the top left hand corner, i think its dead.will verizon give me another droid, i think i've fore xactly one month now, im not sure if i got the insurance, i dont remember talking about it with the salesperson and now im freaking out if i would have to pay full retail for another one.

Apr 13, 2010So my phone just turned itself off when I had just restarted it and it will not come back on. I've tried battery pull(and letting it sit there several minutes), sd card pull, charging it while there isn't a battery in the phone, and charging it with the battery plugged in.I can't get the phone to come back on. I'm rooted with CM(no overclock kernel). Do you guys think if I take it to verizon to get the warranty replacement I will get a 570 dollar charge after they replace it? What I mean is do you think they will be able to test it and figure out it wasn't stock and bill me.Also, do you guys have any ideas on how to get it to come back on?
