Apr 1, 2010On my news and weather app the weather does not show up therefore does not show up in the multimedia dock at night. I have tried zip code and geolocation. It keeps saying when i refresh weather info unavailable. IS anyone else having this problem? This just started happening yesterday morning prior to that i had no problems with it. The news portion is working fine.

May 17, 2010So since the 2.1 OTA my weather widget will display the city, but no weather icon. if i sync it manually, it will show up. with 1.5 it would update every 3 hours, regardless if i had Background data on or off (i normally keep it off).
so now with 2.1 it wont sync unless i have BG data on, or do it manually. any way around this?

Nov 29, 2009At one of my jobs I am forced to leave my phone in the car for about 3 hours. The temperature usually gets down to about 30 F. Will this damage my Eris, it is primarily the screen I am worried about. I've noticed the lcd performs a bit sluggish the colder it is. I read on another site leaving cell phones plugged into the charger might be a good idea but would that really keep the phone from getting cold?

Jul 26, 2010I'm using the standard weather app and it's not updating. Currently it's cloudy and 57 degrees by my computer and the news. My phone says 72 and sunny. I've updated the weather and it still shows the same. What's up?

Jul 29, 2010Was doing fine until rain was coming, then battery dropped big time. Charged last night before bedtime, didn't use my phone all day and checked a little bit ago and was down to 50%. Normally I'd be at 80-90% under similar circumstances.
Here's the confusing part (Battery use):
42m 36s since unplugged.
Display: 67%
Cell standby: 26%
Phone idle: 8%
EDIT: BTW, this is LIVE weather.

Aug 8, 2010When I go to my local tv station's web site and try to view their animated weather radars, I can see them but they don't animate. Is this due to flash, something with the web site itself (not being mobile-specific), or am I just using the wrong app to view weather radars?

Feb 27, 2010I installed the 2.1 deskclock because the 2.0.1 was just too bright. Last night i put it in my multimedia dock. However there is no weather. It just says "weather temperature unavailable". I went into the settings and the weather settings is defualted for my zip code. it does show my location and temp. I done understand then why it does not display temp in the dock.

I know I sound like a loon but news and weather is part of my daily morning ritual and this just made it better!

Jan 23, 2010Anyone else notice that if the city that you are in is longer than a certain amount of characters it will wrap the letters to the next row and will then cut the temperature in half to where you can barely read it? It's pretty silly looking.
