Motorola Droid : Weather Widget In BB Says "Sorry Weather Is Currently Unavailable"

Motorola Droid :: New And Weather Widget - Weather Not Working
Apr 1, 2010On my news and weather app the weather does not show up therefore does not show up in the multimedia dock at night. I have tried zip code and geolocation. It keeps saying when i refresh weather info unavailable. IS anyone else having this problem? This just started happening yesterday morning prior to that i had no problems with it. The news portion is working fine.

Feb 27, 2010I installed the 2.1 deskclock because the 2.0.1 was just too bright. Last night i put it in my multimedia dock. However there is no weather. It just says "weather temperature unavailable". I went into the settings and the weather settings is defualted for my zip code. it does show my location and temp. I done understand then why it does not display temp in the dock.

May 17, 2010So since the 2.1 OTA my weather widget will display the city, but no weather icon. if i sync it manually, it will show up. with 1.5 it would update every 3 hours, regardless if i had Background data on or off (i normally keep it off).
so now with 2.1 it wont sync unless i have BG data on, or do it manually. any way around this?

Jul 30, 2010Can anyone recommend a weather widget that displays the current weather based on location? Preferably cell tower info instead of gps and one that only used data every set interval based on my settings so that it doesn't use data constantly.

Sep 10, 2010I tried removing it and adding it back about ten times and it still won't show the weather..just says "my location" under the clock. If I click on the clock and load it, I can then click on the clock and it will load the weather screen, updated and all...but it still refuses to load it on the home screen with the time. Happened a few days after froyo update. How can I get the weather back as part of the clock widget??

Mine worked for a day and now I get the location but no weather update.
All other locations display all info fine.
Im in Australia on Vodafone - although from the previous mentioned thread seems to be software related rather than carrier location

Sep 17, 2010So I got the 2.2 Update. If I try adding the News & Weather widget, the weather is always wrong. Always has the sun on all night and temperature is wrong too. I checked all options of course, should work fine. Has anyone else encountered this?

Jul 19, 2010How I get my weather/clock widget to show the local weather? it currently shows the weather in my capital city but it used to show the local weather of the suburb I am in when I'm in different suburbs? It also used to update the weather every hour and show a sun in the day and a moon at night but now even at 12 at night it still shows the sun. I've also set the weather sync in settings to update ever hour. does anyone know what it could be thats different in my phone now?

Aug 20, 2010My wife really likes the weather animations with the stock Sense UI weather widget. However, she is running LP and cannot use that widget anymore. Does anyone know of a weather/clock widget that still gives you those animations that can be used with LP?
I have beautiful widgets currently, but it doesn't show the full screen animations like she likes (windshield wipers if it is raining, bright sunlight when sunny, etc.).
Nexus : N1 - Sorry Weather Currently Unavailable
Jul 14, 2010A few days ago the weather suddenly stopped working on the native News and Weather app. All I keep getting is the Sorry, weather currently unavailable message. The news however, is still working fine.
When I do a refresh it doesn't change and when I try to manually set my location it always comes back as "nothing found" no matter what I type in. I've tested it in different Wi-Fi locations as well as using 3G which all returned the same result.
This is weird because the weather is working and updating fine on my Fancy Widget app. GPS is also working fine.
I've tried rebooting the phone as well with no change.
I'm running the OTA version of Android 2.2 build FRF91 on my Nexus One.

Aug 26, 2010I recently flashed the Cyanogenmod 6.0.0-RC3 ROM onto my Moto Droid, and also installed a Simple Black Bar theme from their forum. Now, my Weahter and Toggle Widget app doesn't show up on the list of widgets when I long press my screen. I reinstalled it, and it worked, but then any time after that when I reboot my phone or unplug it from my computer, it will fail to load, and again won't show up on the widget list. Is this a bug in RC3? How can I go about fixing this?

I really want to upgrade to LP for my phone, but there are two moto widgets that I really like but can't seem to find similar replacements. One of them is the calendar widget and the other is the weather widget. What I'm looking for is an app that displays the current date and the next upcoming event. I've found a few, but they take up too much space for my tastes. I'm trying to keep these two on the home screen for easy viewing. Secondly I'd love a weather widget which could display the weather information in a small amount of space. Pictures are not necessary, I could live with text descriptions.

Nov 29, 2010I've been using Weatherbug Elite since soon after getting the Droid X. I'm running Launcher Pro Plus. I have always been able to resize the map widget of weatherbug to 3x3. Now (since last update I think) the widget sizes to about 2.5x2.5 from the standard 2x2 size. The other .5x.5 is grey screen. Has anyone else been having this problem or know if it can be fixed? I really like weatherbug but would like to fix this.

Jan 23, 2010I've installed weather widget donate and when I the clock is displayed on my moto droid screen, it's not aligned correctly. It's bunched to close together and I'm not sure what to do. It seems that all the clocks I've downloaded from within weather widget, it's all the bunched. Any ideas of what I can do? This is annoying as I was really happy to have this widget installed.

Motorola Droid :: Installed BBv1 Weather Widget Says N/A?
May 20, 2010Last night I Rooted and installed Bugless Beast v1. Since installing the rom my Weather Widget (Donate) has failed to update a location. The display says N/A and 32 degrees. I searched and browsed the forums. I couldn't find much info on what might be causing this. I re-installed Google maps and cleared the cache, still nothing. I will say when I use maps I get a "Location is temporarily unavailable" message. I decded to do a full wipe, re-root and rom install, but I still get this issue.
