I bought an app and it is not in my download section. Also when I goto the market it is asking me to buy it again. No thank you. Must be away to get old one back! right

My droid has a few bugs and I'm probably taking it back for another one.. The question I have is, do I have to redownload all my apps and contact lists?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have one app (Astro File Manager) that is stuck in my downloads in the Market. I uninstalled the app, and it stays there. If I click on it, it takes me to the page for AFM, and if I click on cancel download, it force closes my market. I had about 6 apps doing the same thing, but when I clicked on them and canceled the download, and re updated, they all worked fine. Astro is the only one giving my problems. Any ideas on how to stop it and just redownload?

View 1 Replies View Relatedis the current available update for Froyo the same update that Verizon is releasing today at 12:00 pm eastern? why should people wait till noon if its the same? also, if i want to set phone back to original settings and redownload all my apps from the market, do i need to manually set up all my email account settings again? and are all of my pictures that i have taken saved to the my SD card? so i should remove that card when resetting phone and put back into phone when done or can i leave it in phone and they should be fine during reflashing ?

I use my cell phone a lot, and I would like to have one battery fully charged at all times in case I run out or am going out for the night. View 12 Replies View Relatedi'm sure this has been asked before but, with 2.01 and 2.1 things may have changed and as these are/have *just* come out I felt it was worth asking:I'm looking at either a driod or HD2. Now I really like the HD2 BUT it has the usual HTC BS issues with a buggy frontend and generaly, like all HTC stuff, being excellent in principle but rushed out and becomes major fail. So, this brings me to a Milestone (i'm in the UK).I'm very tempted by this as its similar in form factor to my current Acer M900 - large screen and slide keyboard. But before I do, i'm a little confused by some stuff and was hoping you guys can help me please?
- I'm looking at a Milestone being a UK person, can I use ROM's for a Droid and still retain the multi-touch feature?
- I have read over the past few days that some Droids can auto-reboot. Does this also affect Milestones and have the new 2.01 updates fixed it? Do we know if the 2.1 will defo fix?
- I am a hardcore Office user on my WinMobs, can I get full office functionality on the Droid? I need full outlook sync including tasks. I need to be able to edit Excel and Word and at least look at PowerPoint presentations.
- I also need OneNote or something VERY similar on Android that will sync to my PC as well, can this be done
- I have read that the keyboard can be akward, sadly I have no idea where to try one in the UK so, honestly, is it useable or too cramped
- Battery life - i'd need full push email for 7am to 10pm, can the phone battery handle this
- The HTC HD2 has the usual issue where when locked it will require a reboot to "wake it up" again, does anything like this happen with the Milestone? Its highly embarrasing and VERY frustrating to go to take notes in a meeting only to find I need to reboot before I can....

So what I want to ask is what stuff should I check in the phone when buying it used from another person. I know to check the standard functions like calling, msging, camera, wifi, gprs/edge, gps etc. But I don't know any other thing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm hoping someone can help here. I recently installed the OTA update and then figured it would be a good time to reset the phone to factory settings. So I did that, went into the Market to redownload my apps and noticed that only some of them were listed. Searching for the missing apps yields nothing. Some of the ones that are missing include Slingplayer, Logmein, Fandango, Samsung Desktop Dock Application, Pure Calendar Widget, and my Exchange by Touchdown key. They aren't listed in the downloads and searching for them again yields nothing. I have tried performing a hard reset on the phone (twice) but that doesn't fix the issue. I also tried clearing the cache in the browser but no luck.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy phone was stolen recently and I recently received my replacement. I go to the Android market on the phone to redownload my apps. It says I have nothing there. I did a hard reset on the phone and tried it again. It found nothing. I downloaded over 50 free apps, but what's really ticking me off is that I paid for at least two. One was touchdown to sync up with my exchange server. The other one was to use my phone as a wireless card for my laptop. (I can't even remember what that one was called.)
Here is what sucks apparently I'm unable to retrieve my original signin log in. I went to Google and tried a whole bunch of password retrieval options. Checked multiple accounts. Believe I have the right account. Every time I switch I do a hard reset on the phone. Google great company that there are, try to find a way to talk with somebody. Why aren't my apps there? Do I have the right account?
I buy a monthly subscription to thumplay and i have over 150 ringtones in my locker... but since i switched to android, when i try to redownload my ringtones, they are downloading as a .dm filetype and not .mp3
I did download ringdroid but thats not helping whatsoever,,, i also cant figure out how to change my text alert without changing every other notification sound as well.
I get as far as putting in my cc info and then when it tries to save the info the error occurs any1 have this problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI found a good deal for a HTC Droid Eris online from a website, the location was perfect as it was right near where i reside. After setting up an appointment to meet and looking at the phone i found that the phone wasn't 'brand new' but had been used, the owner claims that she bought it from another person who claims that it had not been activated at all. I tried to activate the phone and couldnt because the phone had already been activated on Verizon's Network. She said that she was going to take the phone in in the morning and see what they could do about it. So she is going to give me a call tomorrow (i guess its today now that it is past midnight).So my question is if she calls me back tomorrow and says that Verizon has taken care of the problem and i can now activate it with my phone # do i go ahead and buy it from her? Is there anything i should be worried or be informed about? Help me out fellow Android users! I dont want to buy the phone and activate it and get screwed over somehow because i wasn't knowledgable to a certain extent, as you can tell i dont have much experience with phones as far as activation/ESN/plans/etc whatnot go.

Everything was fine but then I kept getting emails thanking me for purchasing apps which I would immediately request for refund. I already did a hard reset on my phone and I was wondering if I had to cancel my email and my card or if there's anything else I can do.

Then I purchased a Visa debit from Walmart, I didn't realize that I would have to wait until the permanent card came in the mail. It took 9 days to get here. So the order was canceled the second time, supposedly. I get the permanent Visa Saturday, and still can't get Beautiful Widgets, frankly, I don't think Google got it cancelled properly as when I select the app on marketplace.
I do not get the "buy" option/button, but it goes straight to "authorize payment" and it doesn't use the updated info. I know the cc will work as I purchased something else prior that was out of country. Google really isn't much help, when I ask for help they keep sending "cookie cutter" replies which do not relate to the issue. I'm starting to understand road rage. There's no way to purchase online instead of using phone, is there? Any solution you all know of besides forget Beautiful Widgets?
