Since the 2.1 update, the Market takes FOREVER to open anything. Whether it's just as the app opens, when I go into Downloads, or if I click a new app and try to look at screenshots. I just don't remember it being this slow.

All day today my market is loading slow and will not download or update my apps.Twice i got a server error message. I have petes froyo rom. Anyone else having problems. As Also my temperature weather is not displaying in the clock app which is used when my phone docks at night. Also the news and sports have not been updated since yesterday.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI got my x on launch day no root no 2.2 all stock .well i've been noticing its getting slower don't have much installed only about 10 apps. The browser will start and then stop when u tell it to go somewere then after a dew sec it takes back off. Text message when u bring it up it takes about 10 sec to load then another lag to start typing and there wont be any old messages in box and when they do finally come up u can't scroll threw the old ones.

I go to search in the market, and type in dialer, it brings up all the customisable dialer choices, if i choose ANY of them, i go to pay, and everytime i get the error message "A server error has occurred,retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen" but it is only on the dialer packages.i can buy and download anything else fine,
Can someone test this out for me?
Iv reset my phone 3 times, and its the same thing evertime, WHATS GOING ON?
Also the market is running VERY SLOW on my phone.
I just recently bought a new EVO and have absolutely loved it. However, I just began having an issue with my 3g connection which happens to coincide with a microSD upgrade. I recently switched out the 8gb mSD for a SanDisk 16gb class 4 card. Well since then (24hours or so), I have had weird issues with very slow 3G coverage. My internet takes forever to load pages (if at all.) Mail, facebook, weather take forever to sync (the htc weather widget will actually display my hometown as "current location") However, streaming video through SprintTV & YouTube seems to work fine without any stutter. So, my question is: Does this sound like an issue with my 3G network or is the card switch causing these issues? Incidentally, everything works fine when using Wi-Fi. I will test my 4G coverage at work today to see if that works at all or not.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to 4.4 last night. Overall, it seems fine to me but one thing that annoys me is that the menus have slowed down. I'm not sure what it's called, but I'm referring to the menu that you can drag from the top of the screen (I'm using a Galaxy S3) by swiping your finger from the very top of the screen downwards. Has notifications and all the enable/disable icons for the various services. Used to be fast when I would swipe my finger down rapidly, now it lags. Wonder if there is any way to fix that, or if it's just part of 4.4?

Raging Thunder game Theres a pt.2 but aso not available. More icons paid Latest swype. to name a few. is there anyone else that has this prob? I emailed an app dev, about this issue and he replied "for some reason your phone doesnt allow you to list copy protected apps after updating." then suggested i contact market/google support. i went to the link and no email. just a link to FAQ. Maybe this supposed 2.1 official from htc leak isnt the %100 complete version. If so oh well, there would be a rom updated for that one as well if thats the case. I am pretty satisfied w/ the currrent build. I think its great.
View 7 Replies View RelatedHad a quick question - Did the update yesterday morning with no issues other than I can not find some of the apps I used prior to the upgrade. I can find them in the market, but when I try to use my phone to download, it can not find them. Note: I used Astro to back up most of my apps on the phone, these couldn't be backed up since they were marked private. And they didn't display in my downloads either after the upgrade. Digital Clock Widget: Silent Time: If I use my friends phone (same version prior to my upgrade), no problem finding these apps. Suggestions? I could always downgrade back to the previous version, but I was having some freezing issues that I hope this upgrade fixed...
View 5 Replies View Relatedsince I upgraded to froyo and rooted it takes up to 10 minutes to see my sd card on my PC. Sometimes it seems like it drags down my PC. I did also upgrade my card to a 32 gb which could be the problem or did I not format it correctly be the problem. Tia

- 1st simple version to download using a OTA server, clients accesss to an URL to download.
- 2nd version more complex to be published on the Market.
The question here is that the process to publish on the Android Market is under bureaucratic internal process and it takes a long time, so the idea do reduce the time to market is to provide an OTA version.
There is any possibility for users that download application via OTA to upgrade the application for version published later on the Market? (Both Application will be signed with the same key).
I have upgraded my Galaxy Grand Duos I-9082 from Jelly bean 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 and the phone hangs randomly. on 4.1.2 it was working truly commendable.

I deleted 6 images and save it. but when ever I reopen I see 8 images. When I tried to download updated version of my app on my device thorough Android Market, it kept crashing. Searching is fine, but when I click through an app, it takes a while for the info to show up. The same is true with the install page. Just blank white boxes for a bit. Is this common?
The download page also takes quite a while to show up and it shows all the apps I've downloaded and used so far as STILL INSTALLING.
I just got a BOGO with my wife for the Facinate. I switch from a fully rooted/ROMed Incredible. On both our phones, the Market loads and searches VERY slow on WiFi and 3G. My Incrediable loads/searches almost instantly while the Fasinate takes...3, 4, 5,..., 10secs at times. Downloads are slow too.

I was able to pull mine up, then hers up before her banking home page would even load. I tried the google homepage and it seems to take even longer than most other websites. I would think of all sites to go slow, google.com would not be one of them. Anyone have any ideas as to why my browser loads pages so much faster than hers?

No matter which charger I use (besides the stock one) it charges incredibly slow. Hooked up to my computer, other wall chargers and the slowest one is my car charger. I even have a couple wall chargers that just straight up make my phone start doing weird stuff. Like I'm randomly hitting things on the screen.
I've been rooted with Droid Mod forever and have never had any issues or never tried other roms it worked so I've stayed with it. Anyway I was screwing around trying to fix a problem and did a nandroid back up and and restore ( i'm clueless) Did not wipe info (that scares me) and I reflashed the rom a couple times because I kept selecting or deselecting the wrong things. Finally got everything perfect. The phone seemed to like the mini overhaul. But when I rebooted the market apk is gone. No where to be found. All my apps are there but no icon for market. Its just gone. Can I get that, download it desktop, mount, and drag to phone somewhere?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have updated my X10 mini to Android 2.1.Every thing seems working fine except the Android Market app.I can search, and browse Android Market.But I am failing to download ANY app from the Market.The download icon does appear; but after a while it says "download paused".I searched through different forums and found that one very common suggestion is to boot the phone by pressing "Power" and "Home" key.No luck by booting either. Can some one please suggest some remedy for the problem?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI know there are many talks of multi-touch on the Droid, and I don't doubt it's existence but does anyone else notice that the touch screen keyboard is really slow?For example, I'll try to type something really fast and it'll only catch about 60% of what I type, which makes everything gibberish. It can't keep up. Not that I type extremely fast or anything. I can also see the keys I press popping up to let me know what letter I'm pressing but it still doesn't read it at times.
