All day today my market is loading slow and will not download or update my apps.Twice i got a server error message. I have petes froyo rom. Anyone else having problems. As Also my temperature weather is not displaying in the clock app which is used when my phone docks at night. Also the news and sports have not been updated since yesterday.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSince the 2.1 update, the Market takes FOREVER to open anything. Whether it's just as the app opens, when I go into Downloads, or if I click a new app and try to look at screenshots. I just don't remember it being this slow.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI got my x on launch day no root no 2.2 all stock .well i've been noticing its getting slower don't have much installed only about 10 apps. The browser will start and then stop when u tell it to go somewere then after a dew sec it takes back off. Text message when u bring it up it takes about 10 sec to load then another lag to start typing and there wont be any old messages in box and when they do finally come up u can't scroll threw the old ones.

I go to search in the market, and type in dialer, it brings up all the customisable dialer choices, if i choose ANY of them, i go to pay, and everytime i get the error message "A server error has occurred,retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen" but it is only on the dialer packages.i can buy and download anything else fine,
Can someone test this out for me?
Iv reset my phone 3 times, and its the same thing evertime, WHATS GOING ON?
Also the market is running VERY SLOW on my phone.

They are showing in the 'currently downloading' frame but don't appear to be doing anything. I am using wifi to download the apps and I have never had an issue before. Could anyone help?

Searching is fine, but when I click through an app, it takes a while for the info to show up. The same is true with the install page. Just blank white boxes for a bit. Is this common?
The download page also takes quite a while to show up and it shows all the apps I've downloaded and used so far as STILL INSTALLING.
I just got a BOGO with my wife for the Facinate. I switch from a fully rooted/ROMed Incredible. On both our phones, the Market loads and searches VERY slow on WiFi and 3G. My Incrediable loads/searches almost instantly while the Fasinate takes...3, 4, 5,..., 10secs at times. Downloads are slow too.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm sitting next to my girlfriend in class right now and we both attempt to look at our internet banking. I was able to pull mine up, then hers up before her banking home page would even load. I tried the google homepage and it seems to take even longer than most other websites. I would think of all sites to go slow, google.com would not be one of them. Anyone have any ideas as to why my browser loads pages so much faster than hers?

No matter which charger I use (besides the stock one) it charges incredibly slow. Hooked up to my computer, other wall chargers and the slowest one is my car charger. I even have a couple wall chargers that just straight up make my phone start doing weird stuff. Like I'm randomly hitting things on the screen.
I've been rooted with Droid Mod forever and have never had any issues or never tried other roms it worked so I've stayed with it. Anyway I was screwing around trying to fix a problem and did a nandroid back up and and restore ( i'm clueless) Did not wipe info (that scares me) and I reflashed the rom a couple times because I kept selecting or deselecting the wrong things. Finally got everything perfect. The phone seemed to like the mini overhaul. But when I rebooted the market apk is gone. No where to be found. All my apps are there but no icon for market. Its just gone. Can I get that, download it desktop, mount, and drag to phone somewhere?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know there are many talks of multi-touch on the Droid, and I don't doubt it's existence but does anyone else notice that the touch screen keyboard is really slow?For example, I'll try to type something really fast and it'll only catch about 60% of what I type, which makes everything gibberish. It can't keep up. Not that I type extremely fast or anything. I can also see the keys I press popping up to let me know what letter I'm pressing but it still doesn't read it at times.

It doesn't always happen, and doesn't seem to matter the domain to which you are sending, even other gmail accounts. For example, I sent an email on a Friday, and it wasn't recieved until the following Monday. A friend of mine, another Droid user, sent an email to me and I didn't get it for three days. He too says he's noticed delayed mail delivery from the Droid. I've also noticed that sometimes the gmail icon opens a state of gmail from several days ago. I have to refresh the screen to get to 'current' data, even though I used gmail daily on the Droid.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having some weird issue with wifi tethering, i have 3-4 bars of 3G but no way to get online through wifi, but when i hook up USB tethering it works just fine, anyone know what could be causing the problem, also when i do get wifi to work its either very slow or it loses internet access, at the moment im using wireless tethering app off the market, ive tried barnicle wifi but my computer cant find the signal for some reason, i have tried different wifi channels, somewhere i read to set the MTU to 1200, but that doesnt help either, anyone know a solutition so im not stuck with usb

I am trying to see where this speed increase is because right now,as it has been all day,my phone lags,it takes forever for my icons on my home screen to come up when I exit an application,and I don't notice the browser being faster.it seems less responsive to touch(not like that with 2.1)and it has locked up a couple of times. What is going on?I thought froyo should make it run smoother?and I have done a couple of battery pulls already.

Even when my 3G light is on, and the down arrow is black, it just sits there.Sometimes the website will say no data connection available, but this is even when i have wifi turned on!I thought this was JuiceDefender so I uninstalled it, but I'm noticing I still have the same problem. I don't want to show off my DX to iPhone friends and have it's not working this time.." moment!

View 26 Replies View RelatedOther than being briefly listed as a feature on the upcoming Droid X, no additional information has been provided regarding the "super slo mo" that the Droid X video camera is supposed to be capable of.Is this feature still a go? I went to the Motorola website and it isn't even mentioned. Could they have pulled it?I always thought that super slow motion video required quite a jump in frames per second (fps). As far as I know, the Droid X camera can only do 24 @ 720P. Maybe it will do super slow-mo only at the lower resolutions.If anyone has tested this feature, or has confirmed that it is or is not there, please let us know.

I use setcpu and even with it set at 12500, the phone will still act slow sometimes. For example, with a live wallpaper on, if I click to look at my apps, it stutters. If I take the live wallpaper off, its fine.
View 7 Replies View RelatedFor the past couple weeks I've had the problem of the phone taking a long time to turn off. This started shortly after installing the 2.1 update. Tonight I turned the phone off and nearly ten minutes later I finally heard the shutdown sound. Sometimes it takes 3 minutes, sometimes later. I have found that if I don't hear the shutdown sound I can press the power button and the screen will come back on then it will shutdown.
Is anyone else having this problem? I'm not really sure what would be causing this problem because I've checked it before and haven't had any extra running services other than the keyboard and voice input services when it was turning off.
It works and all, but it's kinda weird. It's like the Droid has a diff way of putting together picture messages (like w/ .gif files and such). There's usually a pause, then it starts, but each transition is slow and then after it shows, you then get whatever messaged was typed in. My g/f sends me stuff from her LG Dare, and it's all put together as it should be. It's been this way for both the stock messenger and Handcent. Is there a preference option I need to tweak?
