View 4 Replies View RelatedI am new to the captivate. I have all my contacts in my phone now, about 300. Is there a way to either group or create groups of them and then set one of those groups up as the contact default? I know some phonebook apps probably do this but are limited in their information. I am looking for the full contact info (with phone numbers) and then isolate those I use frequently into such a group.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I first set up my phone, I synced my Google contacts (from 2 accounts). I have since cleaned up my contacts, no longer syncing the Google contacts ... I only have my phone contacts. After cleaning things up, I still have 2 empty "Google" contact groups. My question: Is it possible to remove a contact group? I haven't found a way to do it and I have had no luck searching here or on the rest of the internet. I just want to clear up the clutter. I think it's silly to have 2 empty contact groups.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a group on gmail called coworkers. I added many of the employees in my company as contacts. I am now running Launcher Pro as well for what that is worth. I found the option to check coworkers as a group, but I can't figure out how to associate or move the employee contacts under that group. What am I missing? Or am I going about this the wrong way entirely?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to sync only one specific Google contact group rather than getting everyone that happens to have a phone number from the generic "All Contacts" section? If I go into the standalone Contacts app the only contacts I see on the "Contacts: Google" list are the ones I want but when I go into the contacts in the phone app everyone and their grandparents are listed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else noticing that the three "built-in" groups in Google Voice: Friends, Family and Coworkers are NOT synced? These are my three biggest groups. I'm sure I could create duplicate groups, but that seems silly. Can anyone confirm the same behavior and/or suggest something to get these groups syncing properly?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have several contact groups setup in google Voice/Gmail. I cannot seem to access/send to these groups via my Droid Gmail/Voice application. Handcent is the only application I have that seems to be able to send a single message to one of my google groups. Anyone have an idea on how I can send an email to a group via google?

View 2 Replies View RelatedComing from a Blackberry, I was able to create a "Group" and add people to that group so that I could send SMS Text messages to those in that group rather than having to add each one individually each time. I haven't found a way to do this on the new Droid. Is there some software/trick that I'm missing? I used this for work when multiple people need to get the same message at the same time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI know there are a few threads going around about ringdroid and other great apps you can download to make ringtones for your X. Personally I like using more on my computer...I just feel I can edit them better. The site I use is... Free Ringtones for mobile and iPhone - Audiko. You can download them to your computer, then e-mail and download to your phone or send them direct to your phone. Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone....personally I find it really easy to ensure I have the best quality

Is there a way to get the My Maps map to transfer straight to Navigation?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I returned to stock, but when I rooted the guide I used didn't suggest I save my stock recovery flash. Now I need to return my droid (cracked screen) and I'd prefer there not to be any any problems with the warranty. So is there a way to get my recovery back to stock?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't create a new entry in Calendar. When I long-click on a time and select New Event, it says "You must synchonize a calendar before creating a new event."
OK, so I try syncing to my Google account. But when I go into Settings in my Google account (Settings, Accounts, Google) I only see Sync Contacts and Sync Gmail. (Gmail syncing works fine.) I don't see Sync Calendars.
Furthermore when I go into the Calendar app on the Droid 2 and select More, Calendars, no calendars show up.
So I think there's something missing. I don't see a way to add the calendar to my Google account on the Droid 2.
If I tap the menu button while in the playlist section there is no options other than go back to library.

Is there a way where you can create sections within a media app? I mean so that you can pick whether you want the song within a lets say workout songs section or travel songs section. I created folders within the SD Card but it shows all songs within the same section on the phone. I also downloaded tunewiki but same results.
