Motorola Droid :: Have 2 Of Every App In Each Folder On Screen

On one of my screens I have various apps in 4 different folders so I can access them quicker. Yesterday for no reason, I noticed that I had 2 of every app in each folder I had on my screen! This happened on its own! Then this morning, I noticed that all of my folders are now completely EMPTY with no apps in them! What in the world is going on with my phone?! I still have the apps on my phone but something is causing them to double up in my folders and/or delete them from the folders!

Can you make a folder within the Apps screen that you pull up? I woild like for instance make a folder called Games and put all the games in this folder to clean up the App Screen a bit. I downloaded App Organizer, but it only seems to put a filder on 1 of the 3 front screens?

Slacker, Pandora live streaming apps freezes at work, low signal in the room I work in and I can't work out a the cafe so I am transferring my audio files from my last phone SD to the 16gb but which folder? Old card folder >My Music

So this may be a silly question. Folders are great for organizing like-apps, like Games, Utilities, chat etc. I know how to rename folders but is there any way to organize apps once they're IN a folder....or can you only do it by the order they were dropped in there?

I just gave up my Blackberry Storm for the Motorola Droid X. I'm seriously considering taking it back. That it keeps message history in your contacts is in and of itself reason enough, but the final straw was when I just tried to save an email only to realize THERE IS NO SAVE FOLDER!If there is an app that will allow me to save an email (right now the only folders are inbox and trash) please let me know, or this crap goes back. By the way, I don't mean save an attachment. I mean save an email. On the storm if you hit save on any type of message it goes to your saved folder. Even if you delete everything in your inbox. To delete it once you've saved it you must delete it from the saved folder.

I have tried refreshing, but some sent emails just don't show up on my Droid but others do? I can log on to Gmail via the PC and see the sent emails, but for some reason they just don't show up on the phone. This is a non-root Droid without the current update (hopeful any day now!)

After you get done doing a nandroid backup, and you go in with an application like Astro, make sure there aren't any spaces in the folder name. Nandroid does not like that. Took a backup, tried a different ROM, didn't like it so went to go and restore my backup, wouldn't restore. It wouldn't get by the MD5 sum check. I just happened to notice there was a space in the name, mounted the memory card, removed the space, rebooted back into recovery and attempted to to the restore again, and success. Just a little tidbit of information I ran into first hand.

I am looking to sync my hotmail account with my Droid X. I currently get all of my hotmail email that comes to my Inbox, but not to my specialized folders. To specify, I have folders for emails from my university, emails I send to myself, etc. I only get the generic emails that I do not filter to a folder.
Is there anything I can do to fix this or any app to help? I pretty much get my junk mail, but not my useful mail.

How come every application creates its own folder in the SD? Google should've made something like "Application Data" so that applications put data folders there.

I have 4 contacts starred to show up in this folder.The problem is that no matter what I do, my wifes contact information works the first time I open the folder and click on her name, but after that it never brings up her info. It will either bring up the phone logs, the last person whos info i clicked on, etc. Anything BUT her info.
Driving me nuts.I have removed and imported all contacts, unstarred everyone then restarred them, etc and nothing fixes it.

I have the updated gallery now for my Droid and I see the new folders, but the folder which had all the pictures I took with my phone's camera is now gone. If I go into the camera, I can see the pictures that way, but there used to be a "Camera" folder in the Gallery.

I just got my new Droid phone 2 days ago. Great phone! But I have many things to learn. I have a question about the saved pictures. Why is it that when I open my photo gallery there are more than just the "all photos" folder. Seems when I take a picture, or save one off the Internet or transfer the pics off my old phone,that it makes a new folder for each different set of pics and puts all the pics in the "all pictures"folder. Is there any way I can just have the "all pictures" folder as the only one?

There is a folder called "recent" I cant seem to find a way to clear the folder or delete certain ones if I wanted. If you hold the screen down it shows folders and if u click on it u will see recent.

I have the very minor annoyance that the stock email program on my Droid continues to say that there's one unread email in the Trash folder. When looking at the folder list, there's a encircled "1" next to the trash folder... even though I've emptied the folder. It's been stuck that way for almost a month.

I am a neat freak..well not so much super anal...but i like efficiency. When I mount my card to put music or photos on it, there is a bunch of folders created by apps. Is there a way to have the android 2.0 os put all the app created folders in its own version of a windows like Program File folder so its consolidated.
