My husband's Droid was factory-reset by Verizon yesterday, and he lost all of his apps and also forgot his Google login for Marketplace. We set up a new account, but then realized that he can't get his apps back. I figured out his original login, but cannot figure out how to log him out so we can log him back in using his original account.

I bought a HTC Hero the other day and when I started it the first time I must have gotten the google account password wrong, cause everytime I start the phone it says I have to reenter a valid password before it will synchronize, How do I tell it the right password so I dont have to reenter it all the time?

As of now, my cal and contacts are syncing fine but I do not use the e-mail account that is associated with thier username. I have my other account (personal e-mail) set up sepeartely....along with a few other e-mail accounts(work and etc.). I would like to know if i can leave my cal and contacts setup on the regular droid sync account but change the e-mail account to my personal acct. so it will "push" by default with out having it in a seperate palce on the droid. I know this is confusing but i dont know how else to explian it.

Go to the GMail app, select add account, fill in the metrics and then...... "Needs to communicate" message for ~ 3 minutes, then bombs out with - "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server". 3G is fine, on a wifi connection that is fine, web browser works fine..... Google Apps account works fine.

When I try to launch market place with id of an application say com.mybrowser.android by throwing an intent android.intent.action.VIEW with url: market://details?id=com.mybrowser.android, the market place application does launches but crashes after launch.
Note: the application com.mybrowser.android doesn't exists in the market-place.

I was trying to buy the paid app Better Keyboard. It then sent me to a screen telling me to add a google account. I already linked a Google Account to the phone when I first set the phone up, so I just tried typing that into the 'sign in' option, and it looks like it's doing something for a good 3 minutes, saying "Your phone needs to communicate with Google servers to set up your account. This may take up to five minutes." Now, I would be fine with it taking 5 minutes, except it brings up a page saying "Cannot establish a reliable data connection to the server: This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisions for data services (it is, because you're required to have a data plan to activate a smartphone on Verizon)." I have a 3G signal and I'm connected to a wi-fi network as well, although I've tried it not connected to wi-fi, and still no dice.

I now want to make my gmail account something that makes a little more sense to me. I am not using my gmail account but apparently it shows on Google Latitude to my friends, etc. My question is how does one unlink a gmail account and add a new one? I also run my own domain, and have just migrated my domain's email and calendar to Google Apps. After 10:30pm I only get phone calls. Are you aware of a application that does this for email, wireless and other services as well? Was thinking it would be nice to set up a profile that stopped email polling at specific times to save battery life. I usually put the phone into airplane mode...but would like something automatic.
