Anyone else see this? If I start the video from scratch and let it play all the way through, audio is synced just fine. When I drag the slider to another point in the movie, it's now off by a second. If you aren't seeing this behavior on yours, would you mind telling me the compression method you did?

Ever since I upgraded to 2.2 with Flash 10.1 I have been unable to jump ahead in flash videos on the web. Whenever I click the scrollbar for the video, it just pauses the playback. Even when I fullscreen it and play it without anything else on the screen, I have the same problem. It seems to treat the entire flash player as one object rather than different objects within the player. Anyone else having issues fast forwarding flash video? It worked no problem with Flash-lite on 2.1.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue where the video and audio are out of sync using my HTC Desire. I am using videos I have already converted for play on an iPhone and work without an issue. I am also having the same problem on youtube videos that I stream using Wifi to my handset. It is only every so slightly out of sync. I have a few people I am speaking to now with the same issue, and I also tried video on a test handset in the store I bought mine from which gives the same issue. Is anyone else noticing this problem?

Is there any max bitrate the phone supports? They are encoded from dvd at 1344kbs in mp4 format and 128kbs aac sound.

I'd like to emphasize it is the PHONE ONLY and that all videos played great on the computer. Is there any solution, or maybe a better mp4 video software out there? I'm down to a video quality of 320x240 and 350kbs, but the video still starts to lag the audio. If I pause and then play, the video speeds up to "catch up" to the audio for a split second, but then slowly falls behind again. Overall, I've been really disappointed with the incredibly slow processor on the Eris. It's not like this thing was HTC's first smartphone or anything...

Whether it's around the house or on the go. 9 out of 10 places I'm usually at have highspeed wifi connections so I'm not too concerned about streaming over the 3G network; although it would be nice.
Basically, I want to set my PC up as a private media/file server that I can access from my rooted Droid X 2.2.....cheaply, free if possible.
I'm actually surprised that this device doesn't have streaming capabilities over local wifi networks. I can transfer files over from my home network and then play them but that requires a lot of wait time and uses a lot of space on the phone.
How to configure ftp and http servers with DNS if that helps. http would take a long time to code and can't be updated quickly so I'm hoping it can be done with an ftp server.
The Motorola site offers a free download of something called "Motorola Media Link" which it claims will enable you to easily move and sync music, photos, and video between your computer and your Android phone -- it claims to work with iTunes and with Windows Media Player. Have any Phandroids downloaded and installed this? And if so, how is it working? I am getting a Motorola Droid on Friday and wonder if this download (assuming it works with Android 2.0) is a must-have for me. When I want to forward a picture or text message to someone else on my contact list I always have to enter information in the "To" box. (Example) In this instance, I want to forward a text message to "Bryan." I hold down the message until the "Forward" option pops up and I select that. In this "To" box I type Bryan and nothing comes up but the number's corresponding number (B=2, R=7, etc) I do not get a drop down list giving me Bryan's name. For any text message I send I have to know the complete number of who I'm wanting to forward it to. Is there a setting I need to adjust? Or is there a app that will give me the option of bringing up my contact list so I can just select the person I want to send to via touch screen? Its very annoying.
I have searched and read that most people can just type the first few letters of a name or number and get a list of people from the contact list to choose from on the contact list however I never get anyone Thank you for any information.
I get these cool little MMS with sound and pics and some with animation. I cannot save or forward these. If I choose to save them it saves them as separate files, sound and pic. I'm using handcent.

Apparently my device is not being recognized as a storage. I did the unmount thinking. Also, I am wondering how I can play audio from my phone through the RR audio system.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst, I still can't forward emails properly. If it makes any difference this is an exchange email. All forwarded emails are still sent as an Eml attachment, and still get a bunch of jibberish texts.
Second, Bluetooth is still not working properly in my car. Don't know what compatibility issue is there.
And just to throw it in there, I'm posting from my handset and on screen keyboard, it is typing very very slow, better with the slide out but damn...
I got google voice and on the settings it has the option to turn off sms forwarding to mobile phone. I have it unchecked but whenever someone texts my GV number, handcent app gets a text. is there some other setting I am missing. It is on a moto droid btw

I charge it fully then after a few text messages it's on 90%. GPS is disabled, battery saver mode enabled, brightness 20%, social apps sync over WiFi only and that is never turned on.

When I'm typing really fast and drag my fingers to type "saw" for example with just my left thumb I'll catch the bottom left of the W key while the A is pressed down and it'll lift up and make a popping noise. I'm worried eventually I'll snap the W off the keyboard.
View 3 Replies View RelatedNight before last, I charged the battery to 100% before I went to sleep. When I was going to sleep, I unplugged it. When I woke up 7 hours later, it had only dropped 30% to 70%. I did the software upgrade, and the battery jumped back up to 80% and lasted a Long time. Well, last night, I did the same thing, and when I woke up, my battery had dropped to 50%. The phone was supposedly sleeping this whole time! A few minutes on the browser to look up the issue brought me down to 40%.
All I installed yesterday was YellowPages, WhitePages, Flikie (then uninstalled it) and LauncherPro (could this be the culprit?). Before I went to bed though, I opened GMail, and it was having trouble connecting to the server and finally gave me a "retry" button because it couldn't connect. I never pressed it and just went to sleep. WiFi, GPS, everything was off, and the screen was set to lowest brightness (which doesn't even matter here.) Why it dropped so much?
