HTC Tattoo :: Video Audio Sync
Jan 6, 2010Whenever I try and view a video via the Youtube app or the Ballplayer app the Audio is about half a second behind the video making it unwatchable. Any ideas what the problem could be.

HTC Desire :: Audio And Video Out Of Sync
Apr 12, 2010I am having an issue where the video and audio are out of sync using my HTC Desire. I am using videos I have already converted for play on an iPhone and work without an issue. I am also having the same problem on youtube videos that I stream using Wifi to my handset. It is only every so slightly out of sync. I have a few people I am speaking to now with the same issue, and I also tried video on a test handset in the store I bought mine from which gives the same issue. Is anyone else noticing this problem?

Jan 15, 2010Has anyone had any problems with videos loosing audio sync ?? It plays the first part of the files fine then after a few mins playing it appears to lose sync. Is there any max bitrate the phone supports? They are encoded from dvd at 1344kbs in mp4 format and 128kbs aac sound.

Apr 21, 2010I know this has been discussed before, but I've been having audio / video sync issues with converted videos on the eris. I'd like to emphasize it is the PHONE ONLY and that all videos played great on the computer. Is there any solution, or maybe a better mp4 video software out there? I'm down to a video quality of 320x240 and 350kbs, but the video still starts to lag the audio. If I pause and then play, the video speeds up to "catch up" to the audio for a split second, but then slowly falls behind again. Overall, I've been really disappointed with the incredibly slow processor on the Eris. It's not like this thing was HTC's first smartphone or anything...

Aug 8, 2010my newly bought Tattoo became unbootable a few days ago.It worked perfectly fine two days ago, then it started to randomly reboot itself, but after that, it became completely unbootable, as in, it was stuck at the "TATTOO" screen. The phone internals are completely untouched, no custom images, not rooted, no nothing, it's factory fresh.The battery is full too, and I didn't install anything that could possibly have corrupted the bootloader (or whatever is failing to load).I already tried to wipe the user data _TWICE_ (using HOME + BACK + POWER) with no success. I'm also perfectly able to get into HBOOT (using VOLDOWN + MENU + POWER), and connect via usb (using "FASTBOOT USB" from HBOOT). However, I can't completely wipe the cache with fastboot.exe from the android-sdk, since it doesn't allow it: "erasing 'cache'... FAILED (remote: not allow)".

Sep 4, 2010i recently bought HTC tattoo. Before few days i rooted it, then installed custom ROM. Before doing that i did nandroid backup, but later on i accidentally formated sd card. How i can get back to factory reset ? The mod i installed is CM6, and it seems that theres no factory reset key on that cm6 mod.And I also have another question
After i installed CM6 mod, pc and phone wont sync.. Maybe this is because of different versions of sync soft ? On pc there for 1.6 which came with phone, and CM6 mod has 2.2 as i understand. I was looking to download a sync soft for 2.2 for my tattoo but couldnt find.. only for hero,desire and some other models. So now i cant install any apps, also market doesnt work for me.. When i try to access it nothing happens. Im really desperate. Please help me, thanks

Feb 25, 2010I know that there are some other posts about the contacts and calendar sync, but, i think my problem is a bit different. I have a HTC Tattoo with Android 1.6 and as everyone with a new phone, one of the first things to do is get all the contacts and calendar entries. I google a solution and came across one that syncs my older Nokia phone with Google - Gmail Account. So far so good.
The problem is with the sync with my new HTC... The contacts and calender are sync but, they appear in different locations in the HTC. I have 2 different contacts list: Persons and Telephone numbers, when i sync the contacts, they go to Telephone Numbers, but, not to persons... so, when i need to call someone, i cant's search that someone in the list that appears when i use the phone menu in home... The other problem is with calendar... when i do a sync, there's no error and it's all ok, but, the calendar it's not changed. If this is a basic thing, i'm sorry, but i'm tooooo nooooob with Android.

When you are adding the contact under contact type the only options are Phone or Sim.Google sync is On.It syncs contacts added to Google fine.I have tried to change the contact type when I add a contact.The Q in short is how can we add contacts to the phone that will sync with google?

Feb 26, 2010I've recently got a a Tattoo and it is mostly fine (apart from the ridiculously hard to remove battery cover!). But the thing that is driving me nuts is how unstable HTC Sync is. I have uninstalled, re-installed on the PC and phone and had to delete all contacts on the phone once to "cleanse" and still every time I go to sync my calendar and contacts something goes wrong. Duplicates contacts and calendar entries in the phone and and on my PC! My work phone is windows and active sync is a dream compared to this!
