Motorola Droid X :: Super Slow Motion Video On Droid X
Jun 25, 2010Other than being briefly listed as a feature on the upcoming Droid X, no additional information has been provided regarding the "super slo mo" that the Droid X video camera is supposed to be capable of.Is this feature still a go? I went to the Motorola website and it isn't even mentioned. Could they have pulled it?I always thought that super slow motion video required quite a jump in frames per second (fps). As far as I know, the Droid X camera can only do 24 @ 720P. Maybe it will do super slow-mo only at the lower resolutions.If anyone has tested this feature, or has confirmed that it is or is not there, please let us know.

Dec 12, 2009Anyone else see this? If I start the video from scratch and let it play all the way through, audio is synced just fine. When I drag the slider to another point in the movie, it's now off by a second. If you aren't seeing this behavior on yours, would you mind telling me the compression method you did?

Aug 22, 2010one problem i just noticed since i installed LFY1.4 with the smoked theme.. when i try to play videos that i recorded on my phone previous to rooting, and rom'ing i get an error "sorry this video cannot be played". it only happens with certain videos, not all of them. not sure if it has to do with the rom, the theme, launcher pro, rooting or what.. wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or anything similar?

Nov 21, 2010When I record a video using Talking Tom and email it to myself, I get an error message when I try to play it on my droid x. It does play on the PC however and others can also play it. I've also tried saving it to my sd card but it doesn't play. Any ideas?

Jul 16, 2010I understand we don't have 2.2 and Flash 10.1 isn't compatible with 2.1 BUT when I was playing with a Dinc at Verizon I opened our business web site (which has too little bars that go back and forth via flash) and I tried the same with my X and it doesn't work? is there something installed in the Dinc or something that I need to install in my X? Now i tried to play a video file .3gp from the internet youtube link via my android device ! not emulator. And it worked! But when i tried to play a video file .3gp or .mp4( i converted the mp4 from 3gp ) its not working. Im getting error "Cannot play video Sorry, this video cannot be played"

Android :: Video Producer - Capturing Full Motion Screen Casts On Android Device
Sep 18, 2010I'm not a software developer, but I have done enough reading online to get the Android SDK, Eclipse, and the necessary downloads to get it all working.
I am able to capture device screenshots using the DDMS, but I need to capture full motion video of the system OS and apps for an Android TV commercial.
So far I've called the manufacturer and several software guys, but haven't had any luck. I've even tried the HDMI out, but it's not pixel accurate, which is very important.
There has to be a way to do this, since the apps are featured in other commercials and videos, and I don't believe that the only way to do it is to film the device's screen.
No matter how complex the answer and solution to this might be, I'd love to find out. Even if it means bringing on someone to execute it.
It needs to be at least a 20-30 fps capture.
HTC Incredible :: Flash Video Scrolling (Fast - Forwarding)
Sep 7, 2010Ever since I upgraded to 2.2 with Flash 10.1 I have been unable to jump ahead in flash videos on the web. Whenever I click the scrollbar for the video, it just pauses the playback. Even when I fullscreen it and play it without anything else on the screen, I have the same problem. It seems to treat the entire flash player as one object rather than different objects within the player. Anyone else having issues fast forwarding flash video? It worked no problem with Flash-lite on 2.1.

Jul 15, 2010This is my first android device and i'm loving it... but one thing that irks me is the use, or lack thereof, of the back button.
As I am navigating menus and options in the Settings, I cannot simply go back one menu using the back key. For example, if I go to Settings->Battery Manager->Battery Profile Options and want to go back to the Settings screen, I cannot.
Pushing the back button does nothing and I can only go back to the Settings menu by going Home, then re-entering.
Another quirk regarding the back button is when reading emails. Using a regular email account such as Hotmail, I cannot simply read an email and go back to the inbox using the button.
It makes navigating the phone very tedious.

I charge it fully then after a few text messages it's on 90%. GPS is disabled, battery saver mode enabled, brightness 20%, social apps sync over WiFi only and that is never turned on.
